Yep, I've found all of Roy's comms regarding Olise very odd. Something is definitely up.

He is making it sound like we are powerless to keep him, implying that there must be some sort of clause or something.

If not, in todays market he's north or £60m.

It is sad . But this boy set a standard last season. If he brings that standard ,hopefully some of our boys will see it and reach all the harder for it.

Hopefully this is Chelsea playing games. Why would they strengthen one of their major rivals?

They need to keep us sweet as otherwise we will complain about the illegal approach for Olise. Chelsea have previous and have had a transfer ban before. My view is we should make that complaint to the FA and Premier League

I don’t know if Newcastle are in for Hall or not, but something seems to be delaying his supposedly ‘ done’ loan deal to Palace.
They don’t exactly need a left back as they already have Burn and Targett.
They also don’t need a left midfielder/forward having Gordon, Barnes and Murphy who can fulfil the role.
It wasn’t that long ago that the so called top clubs wanted 2 players per position, but that’s rapidly moving to 3 per position!
I don’t see it a healthy development and think it will be a while until we see Palace beat Newcastle 5-1 again , as we did a few years ago.
