Quote redacted your religion is also a personal choice - it just so happenes that the consequence of some of these religions is that you cannot eat or drink certain things. the personal choice to become a vegetarian leads to the consequence of you not being able to eat certain things. both roots bear the same fruit. also remember that many people interpret their rleigions differnetly and therefore interact on different levels with our culture - in what they eat and drink etc, as well as socialising, social interaction etc.and wearig a headscarf is as much a personal decision as that of someone to wear a hoodie or a baseball cap - and both of those vex me terribly.

from dwight yorke to the world war to immigration lovely all in all ill some this up. The immigrants are treated like kings in this country they get paid shed loads of money to feed god knows how many children auntie uncles grand mothers or grand fathers they have. they get given house and a car aswell, we also build them Mosques so they can prey. after we do all this for them they walk round and insult our government, praise allah for killing our countrymen/women dance around after 9/11 and worst of all they stand in london and burn the union jack. having unfortunatly liveing in saudi arabia if i did that i would of been killed!!! out there your treated like s*** as far as there concerned your white and should be killed. they dont build churches infact if you are seen to be performing and religous ceremonies other than islam you would be im-prissoned and recieve 50 lashes. if i burnt the flag id have my head chopped off infact if i even said the king is a t*** od have my head chopped off. you may think this is crap but iv expierienced it and if you do research maybe you might find something like this but i doubt it. i could say we should treat them like they treat us so destroy all mosques and hang the people who insult our government and royalty but im pretty sure were more civilised than that. however i dont think there is anything we can do about it we have been forced to live like foreighners in our own country wish i for one think is a disgrace.

Jonsey - I agree with some of your points about Saudi, as I lived there for two and a half years in the early 90's. But, those are the laws of the country - we went there to earn tax free salaries, and we had to abide by the local laws (even if we all bent them somewhat!). I think the biggest problem in the UK at the moment is not that some of the minorities bend the laws, but, that a small percentage of them clearly abuse the laws - and generally tend to get away with it. Any criticicm of them is clearly (unfortunately) seen to be non PC!

A_J's Shorts, the point that is being made, is that in many muslim countries, it is against the law to practice christianity. If you get caught, you are in serious deep sh1te. If all immigrants to the UK were put in the same situation, there would be PC outcry. Yet, the Queen is the head of the Church of England! Why not do what our friends over the water in the US do, and make new arrivals swear allegiance to the crown and the country.....

I can vouch for the fact that Durham University is a white middle-class ghetto...I don't think that in the course of my university life I've seen even a dozen black students.
