Why do I support Palace?? Cos they are my local team and I have had it up to my ears with all those w***ers who go around supporting Man U and Lliverpool, or whoever is doing well at the time. I have got an unimaginable amount of stick from glory hunting wasters who like to think they are football fans over the years and I feel that Palace fans can look down on Man U fans cos they actually follow football.
This might be controvertial, but Millscum and Weed fans are OK in that respect cos they follow a local teams, but not Charlton Pathetic. They might get 26,000 a week now, but when they go down they will not get 20,000. And the same will happen if we go up- we will get glory hunters coming back to us if we get to the Prem, I garantee it.
Sorry to have to say it like that, but my loathing of Man U fans is great. At least Brighton and Millwall fans follow their local teams.

Yeah, strangely, there is a new generation of Everton fans emerging throughout Buckinghamshire, Sussex and other parts of the country. Very mysterious. Can anyone explain it?

Daddy took me to game and brought me a season ticket when I was eight and indoctrinated me into being addicted to supporting the club before I was old enough to realise we were and still are actually rubbish and never going to ever win anything worthwhile.

Bloody typical 'eh! Blackburn can beat Arsenal at Highbury but they can't beat Charlton at the Crappey. Just not my day today!

Went to my first match about 30 years ago my parents were from south Norwood although we lived in Caterham then, pestered my parents about going to a football match they wern't interested but fortunatly or maybe not my uncle went evry week
and took me to my first game and I have supported them ever since, I haven't a clue who we played
but rest is history as they say.

As a kid I lived in Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath.
My old man and his father would go to Palace one week and Arsenal the next so my loyalties were in the balance. However with the arrival of my younger brother my Ma put her foot down and told the old man he could only follow one team because she wanted him home some Saturdays. He chose Palace because it was easy to get to Selhuirst Park. My problem was solved, I was a Palace fan.
It wasn't easy being a Palace supporter through my youth. I went to Ashburton School and took a lot of stick for following Palace when all the hard boys followed the bigger clubs such as Chelsea.
I have spread the word and my wife, four daughters, brother, sister-in-law, niece and mother-in-law are all regular supporters. Six of us have season tickets.
