My concern, looking at both the Remain and Leave is that both seem to be directed and representative of privileged positions. A lot of the right wing corporate leave supporters are likely to relish to capacity to utilise the leave towards engineering their own gain - especially in regards to employment laws and oversight, and the capacity of their representatives in power having greater capacity to control social policy in their favour. The problem we have is that we have a decision about staying or leaving, but not real influence over how those will be implemented. Don't expect any of the parties to actually mess with the corporate status quo, except in their favour.

Oddly the leave campaign has done more to persuade me towards a stay vote, than the remain campaign, which I find alienating and patronising. One the one hand, I am pro-leave, but don't like the covert and overt propaganda, that includes thinly veiled nationalistic nonsense, and popularist falsehoods. On the other hand I don't like the remains covert and overt propaganda that includes thinly veiled threats and popularist falsehoods. I want to see political parties that actually present arguments about what they would do with a leave vote.

One has to accept that during a campaign, the competing sides are appealing to all levels of intellect, education,each gender,different culture etc, There will be mixed messages and shameless propaganda et al at different times. Even we on these boards repeat a simple mantra knowing full well that the bigger picture is far more complex.
