I think the only way to really establish whether he's racist is to look at how he voted on the EU referendum.

You have amazing stamina Hrolf. You should have just told them all to do one and taken their "oxygen" away. At the moment the left contingent are resembling the women in 'Life of Brian' continually shouting "He said Jehovah".... and I'm sure they would stone you if they were allowed to. Meanwhile the rest of us realise the point you are making in that positive discrimination has skewed the representation of LGBT/Black/Asian presenters on our television screens, whereas if it were done on talent alone it would be less obvious that political correctness has been at work here. Nevermind, Christmas is approaching and the left will be turning their attention to ensuring no one enjoys the festive period for fear of offending other religions or cultures. Right on Comrades?

If we are talking about presenters it's interesting to see the huge over representation of ethnic minorities in the BBC Breakfast team.... 6 O'clock news I suppose has George Alagaih. He's the only other one I can find. Huw Edwards and Fiona Bruce on the 10 o'clock. Evan Davies, Emily Maitlis for Newsnight. Mishal Husain I suppose does occasional broadcasts and is on the radio. But basically the BBC News team is white.

George Alagiah is nothing more than an example of the overbearingness of the pc-leftie liberal hand-wringing brigade telling us how we should have to look at people on tv screens who appear to be foreign on first glance, and even after they open their cut-glass Oxbridge English educated mouths have no reason being there when there is a more English looking person who could do the job just as well. Or nearly as well because he is bloody good tbf.
