Why has it got this far?

because the do-gooder brigade never miss a chance unfortunately. It's enough he'll get a fine and banned for 3 years or whatever without the usual suspects calling for him to be 'named and shamed'

Got to give the bloke credit for manning up and acknowledging what an ass he had been. Very honest IMHO and that's good. Painful for him. He'll suffer with the punishment. And hope he has apologized directly to DD as well.

There have been a few comments on Damo gesturing to the crowd and maybe he shouldn't but he must get really pissed off with the crowd berating him when he is doing all he can do .
He was covering a through ball on Saturday (I was in that corner of the H) and as most have observed should have let in run out of play but there was no talking , no shouting from others to let it go or your safe , nothing . Hes got his back to the play ,he doesn't know if hes got a Sunderland player about to nip it and mug him so he try's hoofing it up the park . He sliced it out but that's not the point .

He then gets barracked , he really must be thinking what a bunch of t***s .
Our best defender by a mile even if he is 36 .

And we still need a striker

Delaney should keep quiet and never have a pop at the fans. He has no right when we are playing as badly as we are. One guy lets his frustration boil over which is not exceptable but equally the HF scuffling with our Stewards by the players tunnel was equally as bad.

not sure why people mistake Delaney's passion as being for the club rather than himself. Never hear him talk about his passion for CPFC when you think about it. He's gestured to our fans too often in the last year and needs to pipe down, they have every right to groan when you f*** up a simple pass yet again and boo at half time.

glad he probably won't play again now and disappointed at the nigel brigade playing the grass to a fan. No solidarity in our club.

How so? He was arrested at th time. His name will become known when he goes to court.

What it has also done is make a banning order for the poor bloke who got carried away on Tuesday.

He's been a dick, got caught and now he will have to take the punishment. That's how it works, like the rest of us who have f***ed up, he will just have to suck it up

the dignified don't even enter in the game

i love Damo for all he achieved for us in the past. But going forward i believe he still has the heart, but not the legs ( or wings ) to be competing at this level.

doing 95 minutes against an elite club's 20 year old players is just such a tall order.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha

Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years.

I would imagine he has been charged with going onto the playing area (section 4 of the football offences act I think if I remember my Hendon days well enough)

If so then a football banning order will be applied for as a matter of course. 3 year banning orders tend to be the norm. It will be down to the Magistrate to
decide whether to implement the order.

They can choose not to
To be honest he will struggle for it not to be implemented in my opinion. Going on the pitch to celebrate a goal is one thing. Going on the pitch to confront a player and throw a punch at them is likely to be massively frowned upon and rightly so.

Shall we stop with the bollocks and stick to the facts? No punches were thrown.

He runs on the pitch and pulls his coat open to point at the Palace badge on his top. Totally understand his frustration at Delaney and the f***ing rest of them.

Put it this way, if it wasn't for the likes of him we wouldn't even be in the PL.

Should we be giving these people incentives?

I think he has every right to answer back the fans when they don't know jack s*** about how the game is played .
Its frustrating all round the players are on the poorest of runs at home which isn't helped by a toxic atmosphere .I think Damo just expects our support ,he's one of the few that deserve it .

Think it was a 'Heat of the moment' reaction reflecting the pressure they are under affecting their overall performances particularly at 'Home'.

Think the atmosphere will only get more toxic if the 'Home' results don't improve asap.
