there are parallels between the arsenal and us. Players not up for the fight, players not showing up, players frowning and scowling at each other... the difference is the quality of the players....but the mindset of capitulation looks similar

Without that profile, Wenger and champions league football - they'd never have Sanchez or Giroud etc. Wow, I've been saying this for years now to my Arsenal friends pretty much line for line and as of yet you seem to be the first person that has the same view of Arsene as me! Absolutely 100% spot on - when they become the next Liverpool, they may see the grass isn't always greener.

the mad thing is , i can look my arsenal friends in the eye and laugh at them. They will never feel sympathy or sorrow for me. Even palace in a relegation struggle ( or in the championship ) is less embarrassing than that big quiet stadium with the same mediocre script every season.

the problem that arsenal as a club have is if they get rid of him , is that wenger has total control over everything , stan kroenke is more than happy with his investment and doesn't get involved and the other execs there don't really have the clout . when david dein was there it was very much that they worked together but if it went wrong dein had the authority to pull wenger up or sack him if need be , at the moment its not like that , its down to wenger to resign . he seems a very intelligent and reasoned sort of man and I think he will leave on his own violation at the end of the season . arsenal fans don't know they are born , I agree with Jamie , if they don't get it right post wenger it could go horribly wrong Edited by richard shaw (og)65 (17 Feb 2017 2.32pm)
