Trust me, Painter, my interpretation of your post will be exactly how most people will interpret it. I.e that your view MAY be that asylum seekers are scum. You were NOT clear and if you're honest with yourself you'll admit that. You say -- with some aggression -- that's not your view. Fine. But it means your post was utterly gratuitous. You wouldn't say 'black scum' for example. And don't turn it around on me as being over sensitive.

He wasn't racist or prejudice yet people are treating him as if he is. A tad ironic for them to pre-judge someone they are accusing of being prejudice!

Agreed - the fella who said "asylum seeker scum" obviously knows every single one of them and has ascertained that they are without good character. The boys, the men, the women and the children. He was not being prejudiced but was merely opening our eyes to what seems to be his truth. I am impressed with his in-depth investigation and the clarity of his research and the results as, of course, are you.

Prejudice is defined (as googled) as "preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience". He hasn't said that he had any preconceived opinions and his opinions are based on his actual experience. Therefore is not prejudice.

I fail to see why you feel the need to mention black people, that is a total irrelevancy, why you feel the need to post gratuitous racism. Perhaps you would like to expand you views. You seem to fail to understand, I have been referring to residents of the Queens Hotel, nothing more and nothing less.
