You dont know somebody properly until you start working with them. Team spirit is vital in football and its clear Frank has man management issues. He had the same problems at Inter Milan. If you dont rate a player you tell them personally that they're not in your plans instead he tried to humiliate them

I don't believe we can move on until Parish changes his style or takes a back seat. We can move backwards but not on.

The only fact is Frank lied in his interviews to the board and to fans via the training field in CPFC.co.uk interviews. He then couldn't implement his project he didn't have agreement for so relationships would've been very strained.

That's not a fact that's just your guesswork

One thing that is impossible to explain is the fact that we played so well after going behind so early.

If there was ever an opportunity to throw a manager under a bus with a poor performance than that was it but the performance completely contradicts the reported bad relationship between manager and players.

The only reason that I can fathom for this is that everyone knew Frank was off after the game apart from Frank himself. Which begs the question of why he was still there in the first place.

I think it's evident that the fans have been lied to in some capacity and that is the most disappointing thing.

The whole situation just does not make sense.

Or - Burnley accepted Chungy's gift, sat back on a lead, defended exceptionally well, had some luck, and allowed us space and time on the ball. Had that been us sitting on a 1-0 lead after 3 minutes, we'd have made an average side look good as well.

Don't get me wrong, we played better in that formation, but I don't think it was necessarily them 'playing for the manager'.

I wasn't ever enthused by FdB, nor am I by RH - but if he gets us to 40 points (or whatever 17 place needs this year) and doesn't p!ss off in pre-season we can look to build properly in Summer 2018.

My main gripes through all of this is that 1) we always seem to leave it late in transfer windows - next season will need to be better given that it closes earlier, 2) we seem to be one of the few clubs that states (and worries about) FFP as a reason not to spend a bit more on players, 3) another manager merry-go-round this time does give SP and us a reputation, and means that after RH's tenure we might find it difficult to attract someone else.

Still, I'll be there on Saturday hoping for a change in fortunes - or at the very least a league goal!

So we have no points and no goals is not a fact ?

No it is not, or are you being deliberately obtuse?

He said it, we heard it, parish was there.

Look mate, you're upset, we get it. But if someone agreed to build you a greenhouse and instead built an extension and ran out of money for the roof you wouldn't be impressed either.

Today you need to put an arm round the player. They all do it. The only time it seems Frank did so was chungy at HF v Swansea and he was one he's supposed to have mistreated. As I've said, you keep everyone onside and get rid as and when you can. Not p1ss people off or send them to the youngsters and then select them a week later.

He seems a bit of arrogant t0sser. He needs to learn some lessons teenagers do.

Rubbish pre season? Huh? One loss which was against Liverpool, draw against Schalke, a win against a comparable premier league side. What are you talking about? Blinded with hate from day 1.

The bad start is still impossible to determine as an ultimate failure. From watching football my entire life I deem that as close to a fact as you can get. You can base it on Big Sams first 4 games if you want an example closer to home.

You're more than welcome to disagree but I think the majority of the footballing world would say that judging a manager on the basis of 4 games and then sacking him is a kick in the teeth and as I've said before, had it been any other club in the premier league to of acted in this way, especially with the chairman giving it billy big bollocks on twitter the night before - I would've reacted with the same discontent.

I do disagree .
I did not watch with blind hate from day 1 , I did not know exactly what Frank was going to do or how he would actually turn out so please do not accuse me of that.
I watched the games and saw absolutely nothing that suggested we would be able to compete in the Premier League. Other more realistic posters on here saw it as well but they as I was were actually watching what was going on and not living in some fairy dairy land where we thought the rest of the Premier League would stand back and admire us passing the ball around aimlessly.
Turns out , it was rubbish and converted into us losing 4 games without scoring a goal.
Sam had to turn a team that had barely won in a year into some sort of outfit that could compete for survival in the Premier league so it was going to take time and he told us so , you could see what he was trying to achieve and in the end he got the job done.
Frank showed no signs at all , even when the penny dropped and he played the system everyone wanted his poor team selection let him down.
You carry on supporting Frank based on what you think may have happened , I will carry saying he was poor based on what actually happened and what I saw.
I support Steve Parish in this decision and Crystal Palace FC , I do not give a jot what the media or supporters of other clubs think about us.
We have a chance of survival now , so we should all just get behind the club.

It is but we don't know that's the reason he's gone.

What I mean is that all of these articles and everything the pundits are saying is based on parts of the (possible) truth. It's far more likely that there's a number of actual 'facts' that led to his dismissal & there are few that know all of them - none of whom are journo's etc.
