No, they were quite happy with the curved design, which they commented differed from many football stadia. They liked the Crystal Palace, but thought that it should properly reflect the detail of the original rather than just being an outline.

Ah well that’s that makes more sense I guess ... so a revised design after consultation and feedback, then planning permission and breaking ground late December, early jan 2019 (in an ideal situation)

I suspect that the harder work will be in relation to the demolition and replacement of housing and the reduction in parking spaces, plus they want to know, in detail, what our proposals are for improving the public transport network.

Very interesting and enlightening.

The document highlights the sheer complexity and the various factors involved in a development to an existing ground which is surrounded by houses, has a supermarket on-site and has roads all around which are already heavily utilised. As opposed to an out-of town site where these issues probably don't enter the equation.

There has so much work gone into this project already but there is a helluva long way to go before the development will be completed.

I will certainly take plenty of pics of the model, assuming that is allowed, however there are already loads of photos of it from every angle online, just go to google images. I have some on my pc now I will upload

As for the architects plans, I suspect these will be copyright and not allowed to be photographed and shared.

Not least because it is a very sensitive issue what with some families houses being in line to be demolished and flattened.

The project is likely to take up to three years to finish. Aren’t Spurs completely rebuilding WHL in a year?

No they're not.

The new stadium is at 90 degrees to the old one which allowed them to do most of the work outside the old stadium...incl building half of the new stadium... before then needing to move into WHL itself to finish it off.
