If Brexit is the reason then why is Honda not relocating to the EU? Instead all production will be based in Japan.

Japan has just signed a trade agreement with the EU

As I have repeatedly said the top car manufacturers are all in trouble with over capacity and declining sales partly due to a slow down in the world economy and partly as no one wants diesel engines any more.

As you know Japan has a new trade deal with the EU so relocating will give direct free access to the single market.

You are becoming very foolish.

Honda isn't relocating to the EU because it is reducing production volume. If Brexit was the real issue it would make sense to build a plant in the EU as it would be cheaper to build cars there then export them from Japan even with a free trade agreement.

Interesting article about Honda's relocation which includes the following - "Mr Tomlinson said: "Honda are clear this is based on global trends and not Brexit, as all European market production will consolidate in Japan in 2021."

Any business that is in a weak position is likely to take a further hit by the trading situation created by Brexit. So instead of having any time to turn themselves around, they either fail or move out if they can.

The question isn't whether Brexit is affecting UK businesses. It is will they come back stronger in time or have we permanently lost too much momentum to do so.

Who is this 'Mr.Thompson?'.

Why a conservative MP, of course.

Just in case you thought he had anything to do with Honda.

Can you tell us about the wonderful post-brexit future we have and which companies are coming here in that case?

It's only 5 weeks away and you haven't a clue, have you?

Well, Des Quinn tells us that the car industry has been brought low by the chaotic Brexit uncertainty.

Mr Quinn, Mr Tomlinson, Mr Sugar. Who to believe eh?

Very boring how all of these collapsing companies place significant blame on Brexit really.

It seems like every week there is another big business going terminal. They are all using the excuse that Brexit has been a part of tipping them over the edge. Simply a convenient excuse, following the mass of other companies that are in trouble. I mean, surely it couldn't have affected every one of these companies.

Would you like to tell us, as brexit is only 5 weeks away, which international companies are queueing up to invest in the UK to profit from the post-brexit boom?

Go on.....
