Also I mis read your original comment, so my comment about you making assumptions was wrong so I apologise.

Thank you very much and for your agreement with the point I am making. I hope others take note.

Of course I will judge people as I find them. But what you seem to think in your bizarre thoughts and likewise waffle, is that skin colour doesn’t exist. It exists as a problem even for white people when in an area or place and you get young black people thinking you don’t belong there. It’s an unfortunate reality. If you weren’t in Truro all the time you might realise.

Of course skin colour exists. Why on earth are you even mentioning it?

It's not the skin colour which is the problem. It's the way people react to skin colour which is. And that applies to everyone, whatever hue their skin might be.

An example of how liberals are probably more uneasy with race. While I am more than comfortable describing someone’s identity, you get liberals tip toeing around it or bundling anyone non white into BAME, or worse, ‘brown’ as well as black. Apparently, according to some, ‘brown people’ is an acceptable description or demographic. Well ‘brown people’, god it sounds bad every time I think it while typing it, includes many different races and identities.

You might not share any ‘characteristics’ with anyone going by anything, but you do share a culture with English/British/European people. That is one of the main issues and points on this and made on HOL. That is one of the concerns of people today and how liberals are quite willing to let it fade away, or to be precise, import more ethnic minorities to vote for them or to keep them down where they are to vote for them. But if you’re sheltered from it all you can look away.

Discussing cultures and their status within society is perfectly valid. That though is simply not the point I am making. There are no "black" or "white" cultures just as they aren't races either. It is the lumping of diverse groups into single bags that I believe to be the cause of many problems and one that ought to be stopped.

If there is such a thing as white culture then it’s inevitable that you will share characteristics with other people brought up and living within it or John Donne was wrong and apparently one man is an island.

There isn't a "white" culture.

There are many cultures held by people who have "white" skins which are as different as any others.

But “slaves lost their original cultural identity” which presupposes it was a shared cultural identity.

Well I agree with that. But your posts come across as there being no skin colour at all, in your eyes.

When I see ethnic minorities in western clothes in this area I briefly notice skin colour because it is just that little bit obvious. But that’s it. No further thoughts. Unfortunately when you go into areas or places where people are acting up I start rolling my eyes and swerve it.

Well you’d better have a word with all the left wing political activists out there.

Interesting, mask slipping, use of language.

So your point in summary; the Arabs had the right idea by castrating their black slaves.

Fecking hell....no one hates like an indocrinated lefty do they lad.

Errrr...no, castration is not the right idea.

The right idea was not to take them out of Africa in the first place. My point was that the Arab slave trade wasn't only larger, it was more savage.

Yet so called 'progressives' just go along with their indoctrination because it's like their comfort blanket view of history....'white man bad' simplistic 'oppressor/oppressed narratives'. They don't want to hear that it wasn't just 'white men', it was all races, with the black leaders totally complicit. The northern European whites stopped while the others carried on....in certain places till this day.

Mask slipping?

You don't think I'm honest Dan? I find that almost amusing.

Just don't bother reading them, he's told us not to anyway. If he writes more than a couple of sentences I don't really bother.

Of course it doesn't. They had many cultures depending on their background. The only thing they shared is that they lost it.

You are therefore doing, or like most of us trying to do, the right thing. It's the language that is used which I believe to be not just wrong but making the issues worse.

Culture is specific to groups of people and variations of cultures exist within one group: we all know that.....family culture even differs on the same street.

Genes are the connection that exists between peoples.

It's not binary because even genes have commonality because we are all human.

However, people recognise the categories that they want. I have no problem with that. Just as I and many of us have no problems with people owning their own cultural allegiance.

The only issue I have is where they do that from.
