The USA has far too many problems to desire getting involved in conflicts it can avoid.

That's not to say that it would turn it's back on people who need it but I am sure it would do so as part of a UN effort and not as the lead.

As to what is "lawful free speech" generally, that must be dependent on where you are in the world. What is lawful in the UK may not be lawful in say pakistan, Russia, Japan, China etc. I don't think there is any place in the world where you can say whatever you like, without limitation, and not fall foul of one law or another.

Up until Trump they had a damn good record of getting involved. Happy to wait and see but they normally don’t disappoint.

On free speech, they are acting as a cartel and half of America are having their president blocked. The point isn't only about 'free speech' they are blocking competitors.

On free speech, they are acting as a cartel and half of America are having their president blocked.

Regardless of what is felt about corporate self interest we aren't meant to be ruled by corporations and their power needs to be put in its place.

All Amazon, and the others involved, are doing is ensuring they comply not just with the law but with the spirit of the law. They are acting with responsibility. In 2018 I think the government instructed water supply companies to meter all water to all properties. This is to be completed this year I think. Water wastage will impact all of us and this I think is a sensible move. Tbh I've saved money since mine was installed and you probably will too.
One bit of advice is to check whether your rain water runs to a drain or a soak away. Your bill will generally charge about £25 per year for this drainage. If it's a soakaway it's free. A google search should answer where it goes. Good luck and it may be back payable for x years. Might be worth a look as it's your money
