Yes, I think Roy opts to play anti-football, and as a result once we are two down today we were never, ever coming back. I would go further and say that Roy can't do anything above and beyond playing anti-football/ The difference perhaps between us is that I get why anti-football is the best bet for Palace to stay up, and in staying up, to achieve the bigger-picture aims the club has. I don't like this version of 'football', or enjoy it, but I try to avoid blaming the manager for either the small details (like the individual errors today) or the big picture (i.e the clubs place in the economic pecking order). I hold him responsible for the number of points we get against the value of squad we have, and when I do that I can only conclude that his continued employment, however dispiriting, makes sense. Mate You re seriously deluded..!! Roy picks the team, chooses the formation and dictates the style of play. Even with 9 out today - Roy had sufficient resources available to him today to achieve a better performance and result than that..!! Players are just not playing for him, it's as plain as the nose on your face and its been like that for weeks if not months..!! Roy has got to go and go now - he's race is run..!! COYP

That kid isn't old enough to have seen us when we were good. Made me chuckle though.

Funny old world when a kid who can only imagine what a womans tit feels like thinks he can tell a man in his 70s that he's a disgrace. Still, we all 'deserve' better than we are getting. The marketing people and the politicians say it, so it must be true. Newsflash for the young man in the video: What you have seen in your lifetime is actually about as good as it ever gets. If that's not for you, maybe best to bail out now.

"0-1. Early Burnley strike after some customary Palace back 4 ball watching, and after some minor huffing and puffing and a Benteke / Batshuayi swap on 87 mins, stout defending from Burnley seals 3 points." Close enough SNH. Didn't expect 3-0 but realistically that result illustrates precisely why Hodgson has to go, giving the remainder of the season over to someone with experience to evaluate the playing staff and motivate them for the points that are still required.

there's been a couple of poor performances this season but about five absolute stinkers, you could do a vote: 0-4 chelsea which was the most pathetic? I'd say today.
