Some abuse is definitely warranted if it’s calling out sh*tty behaviour (and yes that definition is subjective but surely we all agree leaving monkey and banana emojis is).

I think all that’s changed now is that people aren’t so afraid to call out their abuser. Not just on racial issues, but on things like creepy sexual behaviour, being homophobic and the like. People just used to suffer in silence and the abuser just continued as they like, unchallenged, and often thinking they were doing no wrong because of it. As a society I think we’ve got a lot better at standing up for ourselves in the last few years and not letting the bully boys win.

This is where the fear kicks in. You think it won’t stop until us white people are getting chased out of our houses. Whereas really most minorities just want to be treated equally and not have to deal with mindless abuse while they’re trying to go about their daily business.

Let me tell you dear boy that people only want equality until that is achieved, and then they want more. Humans don't settle for equality.

Surely you are not so naive as to believe otherwise.

Right now, Black people are equal by law. They have exactly the opportunities you would expect when you make up 4% of the population. Why they think that they should be entitled to get managerial jobs in football beyond 4%, for example, is beyond me.
No one complains about the disproportionate 25% playing football.

If you don’t get why people are there’s no point having this conversation with you. Listen to people that are on the receiving end and see what they say. Not that it will ever happen, people like you never listen. You think you know it all already.

Most people think they know it all. They don't of course, but naivety does tend to reduce with age for many.
