That's the point! Many people THINK they know what sharia law involves, but the extreme versions seen elsewhere could never apply here, where common law over-rides almost everything else. Religions have their own laws which relate to themselves alone. Canon law being an example. Read the link. Not the Daily Mail.

Any objective reader will conclude that it's overriding finding is tangentially opposed to the picture you seek to paint.

The very first line of the foreword says "Britain’s Muslims are amongst the country’s most loyal, patriotic and law-abiding
citizens. The truth of this is confirmed by the polling that sits at the heart of this report".

Indeed, that is confirmed on every page and in every section. If you don't believe me, read it yourself. Nowhere does it suggest that 50% of Muslims would support the introduction of Shania Law. What it actually says is:-

"When asked whether they would support the introduction of
Sharia Law – broadly defined, to include civil law on questions of financial disputes – some 43% said they supported this proposition, whereas 22% opposed it (23% neither supported nor opposed), while 12% said they did not know."

Note, on questions of financial disputes! Which is simply a way of asking your own community to mediate on such issues without the expense of going to court. Which everyone still has the right to do, if they don't accept the mediation. Courts often demand the use of mediation in such matters as a first step to a resolution.

The scaremongering over Shania is just another example of the attempts some make to create fear and division. Read the whole report.

I notice that you do not address the part where it says: "52% of Muslims said they 'did not know' who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. 31% said the 'American Government', 7% said 'Jews', and just 4% said al-Qaeda.

They are content to see the steady drip of Islamic influence and the increased risk of radicalism that inevitably comes with it. He believes that tolerance is all that matters in the face of attacks on our democracy and our people.

Imagine if we had employed that mentality against the Nazis. You just know that despite all his WW2 rhetoric, he would have been waving the Swastika as the tanks rolled through Cornwall.
