That is a very fair question. The answer is that Britain will submerge to a degree, and this is another good reason not to keep increasing the population. I'd say buying property in Scotland might not be a bad investment. As far as other countries taking Brits. Britain is tiny, and there is ample room for us to migrate elsewhere. By contrast, Britain does not have the space or resources to cater for an endless stream of refugees.
