If he stands.

Then anything could happen. I sense a significant number who yearn for a younger , dynamic alternative and not a choice between two older men who both are tainted.

I'm sure they do but not necessarily Newsom. The thing is if not him then who? Maybe they have some super-candidate waiting in the wings although who that might be is a mystery.
Politics is in a sorry state.

High fuel prices are a direct consequence of this. Not decisions by local politicians. That they may have also decided to try to contain consumption also flows from that war.

No, I'm not opposed to helping Ukraine. But I am opposed to them trying to corner the market, embolden Arab states whilst backing Israel and blowing up pipelines. Helping Ukraine could have been done differently quite easily. But the Democrat policy is to enrich their mates whilst literally killing people or letting people die; all whilst their whining virtue signalling continues. The hypocrisy is off the scale.
I am starting to wonder, however, how close to a negotiated settlement Ukraine are getting. One which will probably recognise everything Russia wanted in the first place. Then what will the point of this be? The deaths will all become totally meaningless. I doubt I'm the only one thinking it.
How is Biden's foreign policy doing in your opinion?

I'd defer to posters who live in America.

Now hold on, are you seriously suggesting that the poster knows less than someone who actually lives in the USA, outrageous.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

For the avoidance of doubt and to assist the Prince of cynicism, so do I when it relates to how people there are thinking and acting.

That’s not to say that a wider perspective cannot sometimes see things that those embroiled in the mess don’t. To see a wall it’s best not to stand too close to it.

The cultural messaging taught to young woman....which let's be frank is feminism and social liberalism....is destroying lives in real time.

There is a complete lack of common sense and reality.

A socially conservative female reviews a viral clip of young women asked the simple question, 'do you need men?'

Your responses puzzle me. Some are reasonable and easy to agree with whilst others, as above, appear to be written by a scriptwriter for the Trump campaign.

Where do you get the idea that Democratic foreign policy is to enrich their mates whilst killing people? It’s nothing of the sort. It started with rebuilding the NATO alliance that was threatened by Trump and rejoining the Paris accord on climate change which Trump abandoned. I won’t link the official statements but the one from Wiki serves to show that nothing you claim is actually there:-

The relationship with the oil and gas industry has been pragmatic since Russia’s adventure in Ukraine. It’s certainly not matey.

Whilst the Jewish lobby is undoubtedly strong in the USA , Biden’s lack of trust in Netanyahu is very obvious. For sure they abhor the attack by Hamas and defend the right of Israel to respond but they are also openly critical of the over-reaction and very concerned about the loss of life and threat of disease and starvation .

I too expect a settlement in Ukraine quite soon and also expect it to resemble Putin’s original demands. So what has been the point?

Firstly, because you cannot trust Putin. If you gave him what he wanted at the beginning he, with his resources undiminished, would not have stopped there. For a token period perhaps but that’s all.

Secondly, because he has lost many people and lots of equipment, his position becomes weaker. He has also lost markets and trust.

Russia getting what it asked for 3 years ago would have been stronger and emboldened. They could be in Moldova by now, having taken all of Ukraine.

Russia getting what it asked for now is weaker and likely to cause Putin some headaches.,

Not necessarily weaker.

Ok, but it’s one man’s view on a specific aspect. I am not sure it is widely shared and covers all aspects.

The level of delusion is off the charts.

Hundreds of thousands of people die because we apparently want to delay Russia for a couple of years....even though we could have done that in the agreement Johnson vetoed....all this did was strengthen the global south and turn them into a stronger enemy which again, we apparently have to fight....after already spending 12 billion we won't get back and giving a good number of our best tanks away.

So now we have to economically support Ukraine, who aren't even in nato, for a whole generation....because Putin bad.

The most avoidable and stupid war in my lifetime.

Now the usual suspects are bringing out all the lies about the reds coming over the hills unless we do A and suffer B.....fear mongering for lambs being led to mostly more economic decline.

The fact that I have to also suffer economically long term for the decisions of morons whose idiocy I never supported boils my blood.

A war that only has downsides.....I won't say that I think should happen to the people who carried on digging this hole, even when it was obvious it wasn't working.

At least I pointed this out near the start.

That one man is the defense policy director of Lithuania's defense ministry so he might have a clue about that part of the world.

The Democrat voters don't agree with Biden's foreign policy. It's been all wars - poorly fought and poorly thought out - with no actual gains and a lot of collateral damage.

Afghanistan - enough said.
Ukraine - the aid packages are not going through properly. Equipment is not arriving when needed. It's half-arsed at best.
Israel - did not require an aid package but got it anyway. Everyone knows why - as even you mention.
What next? The mind boggles frankly.

Let's sum up Biden's foreign policy in one word: failed.
His own supporters label it as genocidal.
