If anything we should have a few decades where the shoe is on the other foot. It shouldn't be an argument about male and female, but on contributions made. Equality is just that, the removal of the concept of male and female from the equation as a means of division. If you paid more in, you should get more paid out - That's how the system works. Its only sexist if it discriminates on the basis of gender. Some people won't see that, because the can't admit it - There are other conversations around subjects like pay - where there is arguably much more of a case.

If a woman has been a mother and raised children and hence been unable to work.....I think that entitles them to part of those retirement ill gotten gains. You pay in 30 years or 50 years worth of contributions, you still get the same amounts. It did, and it still does.

We'll probably end up with a 3rd set of "world records" rather than just having the one set of them. I do wonder why no women have been world champions in sports that aren't down to strength, power, stamina etc. Darts, snooker, motor sports etc have no rules on gender yet not one woman has ever even come close to it.
