You are living in a dream land if you think that. Remember what Cameron tried to do? Look how much they listen to the UK now. Their way to stop it unravelling would be to ask us for MORE UK money and impose even more authoritarian laws and rules like they are doing with Hungary and Italy.

Can you explain the link with the British Empire? Sounds like a very leftist soundbite! And funny how European neighbours Iceland, Norway and Switzerland survive fine outside of the EU.

A foolish move? The biggest economy in the world (which has said it wants to trade with the UK) and will remain so at LEAST during our generation and our biggest global ally. That sort of anti-US rhetoric is straight out of the leftist playbook.

This attitude is so yesterday! What happened when Cameron was PM is ancient history now. The world is changing fast and the EU has no choice other than to evolve and adapt or it will go extinct, as many Brexiteers seem to want.

How can you not understand the Empire reference? There really is nothing to explain. We aren't either Iceland, Norway or Switzerland. We are rather bigger, with completely different economies and needs.

With Trump trying to break up Nato, his unashamedly inward facing policies and the depth of the right/liberal split in the USA it would be foolish in the extreme to rely on them as our future partners. Trump himself may not be around for long but I fear the environment which created him is not going anywhere soon. I spent 2 months in the USA in 2017 and I love it there but there is no doubt in my mind that it has already peaked and that it's political system is no longer fit for purpose, depending on money and not on merit for advancement. Our place is in Europe and, like it or not, Europe means the EU.

Getting members of Nato to cough up a fair share is broadly supported in the US.

I agree with the former but the latter is just inaccurate.

I agree, but is probably a good example of how polarised views are.

And that is the difference between a politician and a statesman.

I don't think that Corbyn and May would agree on a plan but she offered an olive branch and he swatted it away.

Sometimes you have to be seen to be doing the right thing. Corbyn complains that Mrs May is inflexible and out of touch with the people but he is the one who makes demands before he will meet her.

The smart move was to meet her and then tell the world afterwards that this woman wont compromise.

His intransigence will not make any difference to the faithful but governments aren't elected by them but by the majority of people who are not as committed as that.

How will they view his behaviour?

I agree with Corbyn's stance, No deal would be damaging to the country.

Just like in the EU negotiation she doesn't hold all the cards, in fact, in this instance I don't think she has any

Not in the context of the debate. The EU is the only relevant organisation in Europe that can provide what we need.

What is that? To make us a satellite state subservient to France and Germany?

I am not just talking about the underclass but the socio-economic groups above. Their opportunities haven’t become available the way they would without Tony Blair inviting anyone in. It’s appalling nobody was given eveyan opinion on this let alone a vote seeing as anyone was branded a racist. My reasons go beyond that nobody has cared but now they will.

If you think Tony, the EU and immigration have accelerated the increasing trend of people being left behind, just wait until automation really kicks in. Makes Brexit seem irrelevant in comparison. Game over for the majority of the traditional labour market and working class employment.

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

She does, a ‘No Deal’ which, means no £39bn. If you don’t think this crystallises their minds you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
Remove this from the table (No Deal option) and we are completely screwed.

I disagree, the UK has spent most of his history outside of the any such organization. Several European countries exist and do very well outside of the EU.

The EU wants the sovereignty of its member states and destruction of the nation state. It wants an army and it wants to rival the US as a superpower.

I will never support that.

Which makes you wonder why they did and still are increasing the population when everyone knows automization will kick in one day.

And that's why I voted Brexit and why if we had another vote I would vote Brexit again and I believe would so many millions of others
