Lets celebrate the Left : Sponsoring young women to reproduce with longterm unemployed losers, in ever greater numbers since WWII. And after just 2 or 3 generations, the forces of Darwin are undermined and we have gone from Lions to Donkeys. Edited by PalazioVecchio (02 May 2021 9.49am)

Rumpole of the bailey to be re-made with a woman actor. Oh dear the progressives are at it again. For those who don't know the show it was made famous by the brilliant Leo McKern who had a fantastic voice, he made the show not the other way around. Rumpole was a down at heel hack lawyer who loved to quote poetry he was fat and old overlooked for promotion and in several cases employed by clients because they thought he was past it and would fail. His main hobby was teasing judges in court and bad mouthing his wife "She he most be obeyd". I loved the show very seventies and eighties. Various distinguished actors have since played him in radio plays but none have come anywhere near McKern's performance. Now the Fem's want to make him a woman and lovelies like Lily James and Keeley Hawes are in the frame. As I said above Leo McKern made the role and has not been bettered however if you are going to make it female it has to be age and looks appropriate. Rumpole is a cigar smoking boozer you don't want a pretty actress but somebody who is fat ugly and funny I still don't think it will work but it will certainly fail if they use a lovely. Another one of my childhood heroes about to be ruined. RIP Rumpole. PS If you want to tell a story about a female lawyer why not start with a blank piece of paper.
