Because nuclear monitoring worked well with North Korea, India and pakistan. The break-up of the USSR also assisted the wider distribution of weapons and information. Basically, anyone is capable of getting anything, if they have the cash. Different times, different problems. North Korea is probably a bigger threat than even Iran but hopefully China can find the way to restrain them.

Different times, different problems. North Korea is probably a bigger threat than even Iran but hopefully China can find the way to restrain them. Both North Korea and Iran indeed pose significant challenges to global security, albeit in different ways. North Korea's nuclear program, coupled with its unpredictable leadership under Kim Jong Un, has historically raised grave concerns in the international community. The secretive nature of the North Korean regime, along with its aggressive rhetoric and provocative actions, has heightened tensions in East Asia and beyond. The regime's pursuit of nuclear weapons and long-range missile capabilities poses a direct threat to regional stability and global security. On the other hand, Iran's regional ambitions and nuclear aspirations also contribute to instability in the Middle East and beyond. The Iranian government's support for proxy groups, involvement in regional conflicts, and development of ballistic missile technology have raised alarms among neighboring countries and global powers. The 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which aimed to curb Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief, was a significant diplomatic effort to address these concerns. However, the U.S. withdrawal from the deal in 2018 and subsequent tensions have reignited fears about Iran's nuclear intentions. Assessing which of these two countries presents a "bigger" threat to global security is a complex matter that depends on various factors. Geopolitical context plays a crucial role, as does the level of international support or opposition these countries receive.

The good that is Western civilization and democracy as we know it. Will always beat Islamic terrorism, communism, fascists and Nazis because ultimately, western societies like Israel represent positive values such as kindness, compassion, honesty, and JUSTICE. These values are inherently more powerful and enduring than what Hamas has to offer which is usually characterized by negativity, cruelty, deceit, and injustice. Yet, people demonstrate against Israel defending itself... When individuals act with goodness, they inspire others and create a ripple effect that spreads positivity. Good actions generate trust, cooperation, and harmonious relationships, enabling people to work together and achieve common goals. Moreover, acts of kindness and compassion have the potential to dissolve fear, resentment, and hatred, bringing about healing and reconciliation. On the other hand, Hamas and islam may seem powerful in the short term, but they ultimately erode trust, create divisions, and leads to destruction. Look at the division in society, now. Hama's actions ALWAYS stem from selfish motives, seeking individual gain at the expense of others. However, such actions rarely lead to sustained happiness or fulfillment since they are built on negativity and harm. History has shown countless examples of good triumphing over evil. Heroes and heroic acts have always emerged to challenge and overcome evil forces, whether in real life or in literature and mythology. These stories inspire and remind us that good will prevail because it embodies the best qualities of humanity. Furthermore, the innate desire for goodness is deeply rooted in human nature. It is a natural inclination to be kind, compassionate, and just. While extremism clouds these qualities, humanity's inherent goodness continues to emerge and fight against injustice and suffering. Just as israel is doing now . Ultimately, the west and Israel will always beat terrorists because it aligns with the fundamental principles of fairness, equality, and the betterment of all. By embracing and embodying goodness, individuals contribute to a collective force that can overcome evil and create a more harmonious and positive world. And just like the oppressed Iranians and the oppressed Palestinians I stand with israel...

It's all getting a bit weird on here - someone joins the forum to moreorless exclusively flood the thread with pro-Israel propaganda. Essays and essays of just generic, one-sided bulls*** that reads as if written by an AI. Very odd.

It’s exactly the kind of text it spews out, and is often quite repetitive, without saying anything we don’t already know.

I think AI is appalling. But 'spot the AI' is a new skill we will have to adopt!

Some might benefit from having basic intelligence before worrying about AI
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
