Apparently Liverpool desperate to reduce their wage bill but everything about this deal smells. Sounds like AP cannot live without Benteke why not have a similar deal as Adebayor had? That would reduce their wage bill and save us buying the plonker sorry footballer.

In his good spell with Villa they were not rubbish they played good football and he had good supply of the ball otherwise how would he get those goals. Palace play 1 forward they don't have number 8 or 10 or attacking number 6 the idea is that the wingers get behind the defence but its old hat teams know how Palace will play. Palace are complacent and will just carry on like it

You serious, he carried a very poor villa for 2 seasons, created plenty of goals himself, is strong, can use both feet. Regardless if he comes or not, his about the best striker who's available for a club of our size.
