My gut tells me this one will happen. I have the same uneasy feeling about the finances as I had when we went for Cabaye. This feels like Liverpool squeezing every last drop out and West Ham being happy to be seen as a bidder when even they don't fancy it. We are clearly up for this 100% and as such will get a decent CF if we miss out on Benteke so I'm not fussed and in some ways would be happier if we did miss out. Baboucar. W.Ham showing an interest. We had a diabolical second half of the season finishing in 15th place, play in a stadium which is badly in need of rejuvenation and before crowds approaching 25,000.

He got back from the Euros less than a week ago - it's really not taking any longer than normal to sort out. I'm still confident it will happen.

It does look like we've been used to flush out a supposedly 'better' move. My only concern is that they're all off on a junket soon and not much business gets done when they're on the other side of the Atlantic.

Isn't it still that the fee hasn't been agreed between us and Liverpool. Also with the`Cabaye deal, that was supposedly being hijacked several times. Everybody remain calm and have faith in the board
