Until I read a quote from Palace, Liverpool or West Ham, I remain patient, confident and trust Parish to do good deals this Summer. We've already done well this Summer spending £20mil on 3 and selling 1 for £10mil roughly and there's aims to buy 1 or 2 more, although YB moving on.

How much was that debt that sent us into administration and nearly out of business? Looks like chickenfeed now.

Right on the nail there that was Kuqi the wonder signing a club record etc. I think it was 10 years money for a few games he would demand to take a penalty then kick it wide then depart for another club could be Bolton was one? Palace fans checking all day to see if this Belgian guy signs come on guys

Always gonna be difficult a club like us bidding 30m for a player. The player will think if he is worth 30m then he is too good for a club like us so he will wait for bigger clubs to come knocking

If this delay is because he still needs convincing then we should walk away. I'd be willing to bet that we've done everything at our end - fee, personal terms etc. So the stumbling block is at their end either the club or the player are stalling. I don't want anyone coming in thinking they've made a mistake before they've even kicked a ball for us.

What doesn't stack up for me with the spammers rumour is that they are allegedly selling Valencia to finance a bid for Benteke. Problem here is that the deal for him is for a one year loan with a guaranteed purchase then for £10m. If we are to believe that LFC are holding out on our deal due to wanting 'all or most of the fee up front' then this makes the Valencia 'sale' pointless and irrelevant. I agree with those who think it's more a case of ironing out the tiny details of what is close to a £50m investment fro the club.

If we sign Benteke I will probably start playing Championship Manager again. Ward - Dann - Tomkins - Souaré Jedinak - Cabaye - McArthur Zaha - Benteke - Bolasie Would finish top six with that line-up.
...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread... |
