I've spent many a night with that mad intense stare in a nightclub, weighed down by Buster Gonad type swelling and still not pulled!

Try lickin' yer eyebrows!!

Most of the women in my life have broken my heart. Apparently I'm too 'nice'. If someone can enliten me on that one, I'd be grateful.

I think that it's to do with trying to protect people's feelings, so telling someone they're too nice is along the same lines as "it's not you it's me". I think they're both often reasons given where there isn't really a reason.

Not that I'm an expert on the subject - never had to dump anyone, as I've been going out with my fiance since we were 15 and in year 11 at school.

Thats quite remarkable. Well done! How did you manage to stay together at Uni or College or whatever? Did you happen to end up at the same place?

Awwww you boys are so great on here.

Agree totally with everyone who says when you're with someone you feel all confident and somedays turn up at the office and know you're getting the eye. Amie tells me when her mates think I'm "do-able" and it's always the ones I think don't fancy me.

Although I've never pulled in a club I've also never chatted a stranger up in my life. I was always way too shy when I was younger and still not over-confident around the ladies especially when I've been single for more than a week.

I met my ex-wife through my brother's wife. After that I went out with a few girls from work and in a desperate moment put an ad in the Friday-Ad - I got 20 replies and went on 3 dates. The first one was an absolute cracker who I thought was way out of my league. She phoned me up as soon as I got back in and asked me to come round the following evening - "SAUSAGE TIME!"

But deep down I want the same as Cucking - to meet someone and take things slowly - but the hermit who works in the dark always forces me to bed them too early!!

Oh and finally I met Amie as she happened to live next door! She's quite a bit younger than me and it was scandalous at the time.

I think that's far too much from me for the time being!

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

Good post, Pikey. Good to see your human side!

aw, cheers!
yeah, we both went to southampton, worked out really well as it's very good for maths (him) and music (me)
from my friends' experiences, being apart at uni can be really really tough, so glad we didn't have to go through that one!

Yeah - me and my girlfriend will have that problem I think. She's going to go to Cambridge or Durham and I'm likely to go to Bath! So I guess we'll have to see how that goes nearer to the time (this autumn).

I was with this sheila for about 18 months and was totally besotted by her. We were great mates for a long time beofre we started seeing each other. One day she said we wanted out and I was gutted. I tried to do the whole lets be friends thing but it became increasingly difficult as she started seeing other guys. Anyways I invited her to my 21st about 6 months after the break up - she bought me a Tag Huer (spelling??) watch which I thought was pretty sepcial and I read far too much into it. I thought it may have been her way of saying lets get back together. Obviously it wasn't because she started snogging one of my mates at my party!! At the time I was shattered. In a strange twist of events that relationship between my mate and my ex ended fairly abruptly when he decided he was gay!!

In any event, if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger as they say and you move on. Eight years down the track I'm happily married now with No. 1 on the way so life couldn't be better.

A little poem for the broken hearted out there:

If you love something and you set it free
And it comes back it was meant to be
If you love soemthing and you set it free
And it doesn't come back...hunt it down and kill it

Bachelors know more about women than married men; if they didn't, they'd be married too.

The best one:

Been going out with said girl, err, two months. Went to her mum and step dads wedding. She dumped me at the reception, then stood on a chair and shouted, "Ladies, I've just dumped this sad tosser. He's all yours, but I'll warn you he's s**t in bed!"

To say I was emotionally destroyed would be an understatement.

Begin the mockery...

did your porn addiction start during this period..??

Quote jcreedy at 18 Feb 2004 2:10pm

I was going out with a girl for over a year and a half and Daddy decided he'd pay for her to go travelling to Australia/New Zealand. I didn't want her to go but obviously didn't tell her. She promised that she'd keep in touch and couldn't wait to spend her life with me when she got back.

We decided that I'd meet her in Thailand 2 weeks before she was due to come home so we could have a holiday together and fly home on the same day. She stayed in regular contact until a week before I was due to fly out and I new from the one phone conversation we had that something wasn't right. I found out (can't be bothered to explain how) that she'd met a guy that she liked, he liked her, yet I still went to Thailand in the hope that things would work. They didn't.

She tried to keep the secret badly the whole holiday that things with Steve (the guy) were purely a friendship and rather than rip up her passport and take off, I stayed with her. Just thinking about her lies makes me feel sick now, even though I'm over her. She dumped me a week after being back in England.

My trust in people went for months and made me realise that friends and family are more important than anything. I did spend too much time trying to find another happy relationship afterwards and you just expect the same thing to happen again.

Now I'm glad she dumped me, my current girlfriend is lovely and I trust her fully, which surprises me, as the Thailand episode wasn't the first time I've been cheated on. I guess you just have to remember that everybody is different, and not as evil as your ex.

I forgot to say.....I got told I was 'too nice' as well. Can Bexter/Slap/Rach explain why girls think this? I'll never understand it as they always moan when they get treated like crap.
