I think the way they debate and pass legislation is more up to date, less bureaucratic with less political influence. They take advice from experts and looks at the needs of people

Our system is archaic and run by public school elites who only have self serving interests, people who don't live in the real world only their political bubble. The handling of Brexit has exposed how incompetent and out of touch our politicians are. That is undeniable

You really know little of the organisation you love so much.

How can you pass legislation in an "up to date" manner compared to Westminster? Examples?

Less bureaucratic? Did you know that once a month the European Parliament moves from Brussels to Strasbourg at a cost of £150m a year as lorries transport paperwork.

The EU itself is extra bureaucracy! Why do we need have two governments? Two sets of politicians? Funny how other countries across Europe and the world manage just fine.

Less political influence? Do you realise how all the major banks lobby the EU in relative secrecy and all the crony capitalism? How former EU president Jose Manuel Barroso now works for Goldman Sachs. Look into this bank's role in the Greek crisis.

Look at the needs of the people? How can they effectively do this when 28 countries have to agree?

As soon as you mention class (public school elites), then your argument falls down. You're not arguing on the merits of the EU but a Marxist class warfare ideology, which has no place in modern society.

Theresa May, who went to a grammar school, is incompetent and LIED about delivering Brexit. There are dozens of actual Leave MPs who would have delivered. Theresa May and the Tories will pay the price by not being elected again. This is all basic democracy.

You know that Jeremy Corbyn voted against the Maastricht treaty in 1993 because the EU had handed control to "an unelected set of bankers".

Meanwhile, your esteemed leader Jean-Claude Juncker is a well-known drunk and this week was wearing two different shoes as he staggered off the stage. But at least he didn't study at Eton, right?

The ERG have been very transparent as to what they want .

In general terms there is of course no overall pandemic approval for the draft deal, indeed wholesale and virulent oppostion to it but the PM wants the great and good to support it "In the national interest".

Maybe those Conservative MPs in Parliament who will have that crucial vote might conclude that a rejection of the deal might prove cataclysmic and decide to grudgingly back the deal.My feeling is that Conservative MPs are divided between pragmatists and realists. As things stand it really is difficult to see how the deal will be approved in Parliament.

I love the idea that approval is viral and would create a pandemic.

The latest Project Fear!

Not this time bud, this is very real and very much imminent but nothing to do with Terry May.
We have a global-debt crisis that should've been sorted in 08/09 but it wasn't.
'They' persuaded the pillocks of this world that it was best to bail-out those that caused the crisis, take a dose of austerity for 10yrs.......and all would be well.
Total global debt back in 2008 was about $173 trillion, worth about 280% of GDP.
Today total global debt is $250 trillion, worth about 320% of GDP.
They've done it again, only bigger and better.

It'll be interesting to see what the pillocks have to say this time.

Us "normal people have been saying this for years and get call racist!! Why can the BBC get away with it?

Some will say oh it's only 2% of GDP but so is foreign aid! So 4% of GDP. That's the answer for the NHS right there folks

This doesn’t include the total savings taken back to their original country at the end of their stay. I don’t blame them for doing so and good luck to them, but those net benefit claims by the remainers based on PAYE tax only was such a load of shyte they shouldn’t have been allowed to claim it, but unfortunately, as you say, nobody could in those debates because of the racist card ready and waiting. Even Nigel Farage dare not say it.

Sure some of the jobs will be what Brits don’t want to do anymore but some will be, but they’ve been undercut or not trained or invested in.

So, immigration down, wages up. Shock.

A large amount of money that would otherwise be circulating around the economy leaves the country on a regular basis. I’d like to hear the defence of this considering building and investing in new hospitals etc was so good for the economy due to the circulation of money (multiplier effect), but it’s okay from r billions of pounds to leave the country, and this isn’t all of it, there’ll be more.
