You're sound like you're in the John Redwood camp of just leave under a cloud

Maybe you don't care how damaging this would be for our business and economy?, the throw your toys out and walk off option doesn't help or suit anyone

There is a majority in Parliament who don't and won't support the deal, everyone seems to agree that it would be damaging to leave without one and yet no one seems to be able to agree on an alternative.

You know each time you post I get more confused. I can't work out if you are a frothing at the mouth fascist or a rabid communist.

Keep us guessing eh?

Ha....get called either a fascist or communist....I think you'll find the main thing they have in common is authoritarianism and I don't currently support that......But hey...Cool, play the man not the ball.

On this topic I thought I'd stick this video up here on the hypocrisy of some people over the Anna Soubry 'Nazi' situation.

Maintaining that mania just gets in the way of the doughnuts.

I've had a yellow jacket for years....Who would have thought that would become a movement.

We don't hold all the cards, politicians have lied to you

Except we clearly do hold a lot of cards. It is just they have never been included in the game. The UK contributes billons to the EU. It employs millions of EU citizens who in turn send money home and helps keep the unemployment figures of those nations down. And lets not even go there in terms of the trade surplus.

The reality from day 1 has been that the EU simply cannot afford to let the UK leave unscathed. I get their reasoning behind it, and events since June 2016 have shown exactly why they have lot to fear what with events in Italy and now the on-going civil crisis in France.
The EU is looking over its shoulder all the time because it sees events threatening to unseat it. It needs to punish the UK, to humiliate it which this back-stop agreement does. I get their strategy, I really do.

What I struggle to understand is why May has effectively played along with it. That is the Elephant in the room for me. The EU has to try and f*** us. It is a Frog and Scorpion scenario. Its entire ethos is to diminish the nation-state and encourage the transfer of power to itself.

Issue is why HMG have so willingly bent over and invited it in.

I tried to buy one once but the pet shop owner said they didn't have any, despite the fact that they had one in the window.
