There is not the least amount of "double speak" in what I tried to explain that some people think. A position by the way, that I don't share. I am just watching last night's Question Time on the iPlayer as I missed it yesterday. The Chairman of the Conservatives, James Cleverly, doing his best to defend the indefensible, has said that the Tories respect the law, including the Judgement of the Supreme Court, but they don't agree with it. He then refused to deny that they are trying to find a way around the Benn Act. So "respect" can be shown in different ways by different people.

What you constantly do is to claim that your view of what to "respect the vote" means is the ONLY view of what it means. It isn't.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Are the death threats as a result of Boris Johnson saying naughty words like surrender or are they because despite his constituency voting overwhelmingly to leave the EU he is one of those MPs that do his own thing rather than vote as per his constituents wishes.
