That's the common perception but actually it isn't true. If you care enough you can change it. I am a member of More United, so in a small way, I am.

UKIP and the Brexit party, although funded by a wealthy man, have emerged in recent times from grassroot opinion. As did the Tea Party in the USA.

As I wrote a while back I really do believe we need a root and branch reform of the party system and then of the way Parliament operates. For instance I want the MP whipping system overhauled and replaced, for everything other than the budget and similar financial matters, by secret voting which remains forever secret. I have other ideas which I am still working through but I hope to see others determined to ensure we regain trust in our system and politicians.

You seem to think that you are a pantomath but in true fact you you seem to suffer from sophomania. You are arrogant and someone who is arrogant thinks they are better or more important than other people and behaves in a way that is rude and far too confident.
In simple words you are just a adjective human being who needs to wind his neck in and stop
rubbishing and downing everyone else's points or views.

You are NOT as good as you think you sunshine and once you realise this you will be a far better person for it. I would hope so anyway. Of course another thought I had was that you enjoy saying and doing just to annoy people and stir things up.

Being a member of "More United" explains a lot to me looking at what they stand for. Just another band of disillusioned people who want to be different and buck the system.

When you a have come down off your high horse perhaps people will listen to what you are saying and you will stop posting such utter sh1t as you have been. You can do it if you try!!!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

You have not really grasped my statement.

Oh I did.

Every government needs Parliamentary approval for what they do. It's just much easier when you have an inbuilt majority.

Orwell would have been in awe. An absolute gem of an example of double-speak as I have EVER seen.

I was going to pen a long reply but in the end decided against it because this BS needs digesting without scorn. People can make up their own minds about how much 'respect' for the result from June 23rd these MP's have.

Absolutely beautiful though. Your best work yet.

I am beginning to despair of you! You manage to read things into things that just aren't there so often that it seems pointless in trying to reason with you.

There is not the least amount of "double speak" in what I tried to explain that some people think. A position by the way, that I don't share. People show respect in a variety of ways and how they do so, and justify it, is entirely up to them. What we mustn't do is insult them by questioning their integrity.

I am just watching last night's Question Time on the iPlayer as I missed it yesterday. The Chairman of the Conservatives, James Cleverly, doing his best to defend the indefensible, has said that the Tories respect the law, including the Judgement of the Supreme Court, but they don't agree with it. He then refused to deny that they are trying to find a way around the Benn Act. So "respect" can be shown in different ways by different people.

What you constantly do is to claim that your view of what to "respect the vote" means is the ONLY view of what it means. It isn't.

As I gave up a long time ago ever expecting a reasoned and reasonable reply from you, as all you ever do is post insults and not any kind of objective analysis or alternative suggestions, I won't both responding in kind. Its just pointless.

Anyone who is actually interested in trying to find a way to build cooperation and common sense in politics could benefit from studying More United's objectives. It is only a start but their motivation is sincere. As I want to see the middle ground better represented I support the effort. What on earth is not to like with that?

'I've received death threats' cries Labour MP Karl Turner as he confronts Dominic Cummings.....a man who has been receiving death threats since 2016.....but who hasn't been crying about it.

Are you some type of stupid. There was nothing in my post that was insulting or bad but perhaps it is just your way of still pursuing your rather limited arrogant way on this site. I can see from your "More United" site how you have become the way you have. They are aiming for the stars and will not get there.

On their site they say " A platform for cross-party co-operation can reform Britain" that in itself is a load of tosh as for three years the commons has continually been disagreeing right across the house and refused to agree on anything just to stop Brexit.

You live in a dream world Wisbech and I can fully understand why you are the way you are and there is no hope for you. There really is not....

Are the death threats as a result of Boris Johnson saying naughty words like surrender or are they because despite his constituency voting overwhelmingly to leave the EU he is one of those MPs that do his own thing rather than vote as per his constituents wishes.

Indeed, Turner deserves no respect over this issue. I suspect he will soon be rightly losing his seat.

Over the coming month it's important to make all necessary preparations for Brexit. Here's a handy illustration of what's needed..

Truly desperate.

Quite.

All seemingly covertly filmed as he did it....which again, says a lot about the individuals concerned.....No doubt hoping for an adverse reaction from Cummings to broadcast on the remainer media.

One of the areas which Johnson has particularly strong feelings about is free speech and after he wins the next election I expect him to change the law and reverse the damage to free speech that this collective 'hurty words, hurty feelings' mob have done to it.....His own party being equally culpable.
