Bruno Fornaroli might be available... might do ok, wont set the league on fire. Dominated A-league, at a guess would be ok in Prem, very very good Championship sort of level.

From the handful of games I saw him play he's built like Gayle, but stronger, not as fast, better with ball at feet, not as good with ball played out in front to run onto.

It's hard to judge players in different leagues against each other, I believe he could be a better option than Fraizer Campbell.

Would still want a Benteke or Bony as well though.

He's had an outstanding season but, he's not had a season like that since he left Uruguay, in fact, he'd done absolutely jack-s*** worthy of note for seven seasons. I don't think he'll feature on the CPFC radar, which is less radar and more Observer Corps, in any event.

Mame biram diouf, sun is stating stoke willing to offer him as a makeweight with a 16 m fee as well for berahino. If wba want to sell for 20m that puts stokes valuation at 4m, cheap and could fit our style with his pace and power.

I follow Melbourne City, go to few matches, and be under no illusions; the A-League is League 1 standard at absolute best.

Realistic strikers: How about Wilfred Bony and Victor Moses?

I read this week that a club was quoted £30m for Gray, can't remember who made the enquiry though

There are some strikers who in theory are easy to get and pretty good players

Joel Campbell at Arsenal was the flavour of the month a short time ago and available.
Bony and Iheanacho at City likely to be available
Remy at Chelski
Jovetic at Inter
Menez at AC but need to be quick to get him

All is not lost

Lots of good suggestions there, except that Remy is getting on a bit, and very little first team action the last couple of seasons. Plus Zaza or Babacar?
