That Hillary Clinton lying video on youtube looks legitimate in my eyes. There is no substantial evidence that it manipulates her own words or takes them out of context in order to launch a smear campaign. I think she's dangerous. I think Trump's dangerous. Here's a thought - if Trump were elected, given his lack of political experience, he would need a lot of help in office.

No one in the US is going to be able to reform gun laws, even if they're beneficial, sensible or necessary. The gun lobby is too stupid and to well organised - It'd require an absolute white wash of the republicans and right leaning democrats. You can't even get gun laws restricting terrorist suspects from purchasing firearms. The gun lobby has just become something that 'says NO' irrespective of what is being proposed (and I think this is a growing movement of republicanism in the US, is that is about what they don't want or like, rather than what they want - and Trump represents and explores this wilful ignorance - where feeling gives way to reason). I don't imagine Trump really caring what other people think, or how things are supposed to be done. Clinton probably on the basis of her experience is the safer of two poor choices (really more of the same) plus she'll be increasingly sidelined I think as the scandals grow (especially if the FBI charges and convicts her). Trump sounds like a arrogant, boastful c**t who couldn't give a toss. She's an arrogant boastful c**t who couldn't give a toss, but has sufficient political experience to know what you can and can't do.

Out of the two I prefer Trump. I truly feel that the debates will see him pull ahead.

Its a basic rule of thumb for me. If a politician's use of vocabulary is worse than mine, I don't think they should be the top job (provided English is their first language). They have to, in my opinion, be smarter than me, and more capable than me, in their performance I don't like Clinton, but she is smart and capable in constructing arguments (even if they are excuses). But neither should be running, and it sums up just how astray that actual political interest and values in the US have become, is that effectively you have the two most famous candidates running, neither of which by any stretch were the best or most politically expressive candidates in the primaries.

More likely it'll be people declaring their choice the winner because of x. That's why you need to have proper debates, not just asking a question and giving five minutes to each candidate. That's just glorified questions and answers. Its to debating, what shouting is to arguing.
