People said that about Swansea and Hull - look at those 2 now; flying with good appointments. We're the only team that hasnt had that 'fresh appointment reaction' and it needs to come now.

A lose to Bournemouth for me will all but relegate us. We have to get at least a point, if not go for all 3. Watford beat them and they have been woeful of late, you have to get your gameplan right. Down to BS to earn that pay check.

Exactly, with hull and swansea now looking like their up for the fight, even more reason to think we're gone, there's not 3 teams worse than us now.
We've had proper scraps to avoid the drop in the past, but this is looking too much like certain other relegations to me where mentally they've gone and as one of the more respected reporters (Neil Ashton) in the papers has been saying, allardyce looks like a beaten man already, the England stuff has crushed him and a managers demeanour will always rub off on the players.

All this talk of the fight has gone out of the team wears very thin with me. These players are highly played professionals and it really is the time for them to stand up and be counted. Sam and his backroom team I am sure will work tirelessly over the coming weeks to install a winning mentality.

I for one can see a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully over the next few games this light will get brighter.

We are cut adrift at the foot of the table we have as much chance of pulling clear as those around us.

Sadly the position we find ourselves in has been slowly coming for the past year. But I am hopefull we can pull ourselves clear even if it ends up by the skin of our teeth.

i can see where the points can come from and we need 9 points for our next 4 games IMO.

bfs hasnt seemed to have the dressing room right now and i hope he gets it soon...thats not me slating him btw.

the glimmer of hope is that zaha is back, and im looking back to the 2nd have against swansea where we shown massive bollocks and went into every challenge like it was our last and attacked like we onow this team can do...this happened after sam must have admitted to himself he dropped a bollock in playing wilf on the left for the previous 2 1/2 games and we then looked like a team again.

i believe we convert back to cabaye further back with jimmy mac and wilf on the right & lets try kai-kai on the left wing for bournmouth, its time to take risks like that to try and change our fortunes.

we just need to feed bentekkers properly again as hes got sooooo many goals in him, but he cant feed on scraps.

All the other teams in the premier league are highly paid professionals as well, when you're playing in the most competitive league in the world and you've been constantly beaten week after week money doesn't come into it, a lot of it is in the mind and too many of our players are shot!!

Yep! When you've been losing consistently for over a year and win once in a blue moon, you're f*cked basically! Well short of a miracle and think we've had our fair share of those in recent years ... play off final, staying up for 3 seasons, fa cup final etc!

Very bad news that Schlupp is out injured for many weeks.
Hopefully,Van Annholt will be available for the critical Bournemouth game.
Think we will get at least a point here, but in our position, how we could do with all three.

This is certainly a worry, particularly at the back. Allardyce is looking to shore up the back but the core will still be players whose confidence have completely dipped.

There are normally a few goals in Bournemouth 'Home' games.

It is imperative that we get at least a share of the points.A defeat there and I will start to get really concerned about our position.

There is always the "Allardyce factor" and I will cling to that but I might have to get the worry beads out !

Worry beads? I've had the prayer beads in constant use since May

Heard the injury isn't as the media are reporting.
