Tories weak and wobbly independent of what Labour are doing.

EU 27 already legally locked in to not discussing a trade deal until after divorce settlement, citizens rights and Irish border are settled. David Davis has already lost the "row of the summer". Weak and wobbly.

They will still win and have a majority.

Still 2 weeks to go so hopefully we can avoid such a crisis. They are the party of lies, flip-flopping, u-turns, backsliding, smokescreens, cuts, foodbanks, stagnating wages, increasing the debt, taking consumer debt back to record dangerous levels, no plan for Brexit.

Weak and wobbly. A vote for Tories is a vote for uncertainty (manifesto not costed and u-turns aplenty, plus no realism or genuine cooperative leadership on Brexit). It's a vote for more cuts to public services. It's a vote for the grossly unfair dementia tax. It's a vote for instability in our security. It's a vote for diminishing workers rights and tax cuts for the wealthy. It's a vote for a weak economy and a wobbly (dear) leader.

Brilliant comeback in what is meant to be a discussion of the merits of the various options on offer in this election and the issues involved.

Tories have their heads in the sand over Brexit and can't be trusted to get us a good deal. A good deal is achievable, but only with the right fiscal policy (Tories plans won't deliver) and only by making reasonable concessions on both sides, not by making threats or making the UK into some sort of tax haven.

And if communist subversion has ever been a tradition in Cambridge then perhaps it's a model for elsewhere (this is the first I've ever heard of such a conspiracy theory). Cambridge is a lovely place to live. It's a beautiful city with great architecture, arts, restaurants and pubs, small businesses, a centre of academic excellence, a world famous science, research and tech hub, a large business park, good schools, big tourism industry. All in all a vibrant and prosperous city. House prices are quite high mind, but they are building tons of new houses and flats (private enterprise leading the development).

I've also linked an FT article that confirms this and you can find the story in other news sources. You can also find the document setting out the EU27's legally binding Brexit strategy which says these three items must be settled first. There won't be any budging on this. Davis or hopefully Kier Starmer needs to sit down on the 19th of June and start negotiating on these three points and stop posturing and issuing threats.
