Which parts of this do you object to and why?

...there has never been a call for diversity from people other than like yourself.

Stirling,is respect for diversity of beliefs and diversity of opinions including good old British eccentrics, not a traditional virtue you have time for but characterise rather as a creation of the "hard left"?

This is the problem with the word diversity. Diversity of thought and opinions is not an issue and is evidence of free speech and a functioning democracy.

Diversity of cultures is a step-change further than that and a synonym for multiculturalism, which is a left supported failed concept that has harmed social cohesion and exacerbated divides between people.

Then there is the 'diversity' meaning that an organisation like the BBC's uses...People like Tony Hall who have decided to be ideological and give the nation what he thinks is right for them...Nothing like bringing in diversity of class of course...which I would actually recognise as positive and a real change...but using 'diversity' as just another buzzword for sacking white men.....A usage of the word that is genuinely racist and sexist.

'I posted a cartoon of Muhammad while the BBC shat themselves. Now I defend burqas against a ban. So many people simply don't get liberalism'

Maajid Nawaz (Islamic reformer)

He calls burqas 'repugnant', quite rightly in my view.

Still, censoring dress has to pertain to a rational reason.....security reasons for example....teaching a class..situations that require communications or identification....Outside of that people should wear what they want....Even horrible depictions of female repression.

I think the burka is divisive. My personal opinion is it looks stupid, I think it makes communication difficult. I think it's a sign of a culture that doesn't believe in equality. The liberals struggle with this one..... women being forced (90% have no free choice according to the Muslim lady on LBC). This country is the best in the world in my opinion. I'm so glad my parents chose to come here, (my dad nearly chose USA) the NHS saved more than one member of my families life. This country believes in equality. Any religion that treats anyone different (women/gays/races/other faiths) should not be allowed in society... let them practice it privately.

Every single thing in this world should treat everyone as equals. It's something I passionately believe in. We all get the same treatment, no-one gets a free pass to be a prick.

Ban them and all we would get is Burka Speakeasy's opening up all over by some chap called Halal Capone and then ensuing fabric turf wars.

Could get nasty.

OK, but we can't talk about Muslims as if the are separate from British society. They are not. Muslim women in the UK are now British women and our attitudes have to prevail over imported religious dogma. British Islam must embrace British principles, not the other way around, as the liberal Left would like.

To an extent its a two way street, a country exists as its people, as such one would expect the British social values and attitudes would also adopt elements of citizens cultural perspectives to some extent. I think a certain amount of acceptance of Muslims also has to occur (personally I have an issue with Burkhas that I don't with say headscarfs).

Some of it does. Tories not so much - strong evidence to suggest they believe in quite the opposite. Very damaging.

Cultural elements yes, but religious dogma that belongs in the middle ages, no.
