Edited by eaglesally (22 Jun 2017 4.47pm) I'm of the mind that we probably did prefer FdB to Pellegrino anyway but, even if that isn't the case, it would be unrealistic to think we're a more preferable destination than Southampton who are clearly 'ahead' of us as things stand. To call us both mid-table is a bit of an oversimplification. Sure, its probably true, but it is equally accurate to say we've flirted with relegation for each of the last 3 years whilst they've been in Europe twice and flirted with it again last year.

I imagine (hope) that there have been detailed discussions on loads of issues including playing style and how best FdB could build on the 'Palace way' rather than change it into a poor man's ticky-tacky approach?
