As an atheist I take very little interest in any religion or religious activity, although I am of course aware that Christians regard Sundays as their holy day and Muslims Fridays. What anyone does inside their halls is of no interest or concern to me unless and until it starts to spread outside. Now the correction : As an atheist I have no interest in belonging to any religion. I took an interest in some aspects of the Catholic Church because my wife belongs and believes and I needed to inform myself. I wanted to verify my own disbelief. I attended social events with her and got to know some Priests, one of whom I worked with on a social scheme here. I have had no need to study Islam or any childhood history to guide me, hence my relative ignorance
As the original writer let me assist you. Both are true. The key is in the tenses used. Take and took. The first is the current position. I take no active interest these days in any religion. I ceased participating on Catholic forums years ago. The second confirms the first and then explains what I did in the past, because you were questioning how I knew some things. Clear now?
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Here we go then:- Former President Jimmy Carter: If fully investigated, it would show that Trump didn't actually win the election in 2016. He lost the election and he was put in office because the Russians interfered ...on his behalf. Jimmy Carter still going - must be in late 90's- a lifetime's public service devoted to peace and a true christian.

But seriously, even if Russia interfered, which it did....it's influence is nothing compared to the interference coming from Silicon valley companies right now and indeed since 2016.
