Much like how pardoning the Sheriff aimed to divide along racial lines, this latest effort in Alabama of all places, is designed to play well with Trump's base. There was no pressing need for him to highlight this out of nowhere or call people sons of bitches who should be fired for holding a particularly view. I would say that it's a new low for a president to behave this way, but at this point it's probably not.

Much in the same way there was no need for Trump’s Evangelical Adviser on say live on Fox News that NFL Players are 'Lucky They Are Not Shot in the Head' as they would be in North Korea. These are ridiculous inflammatory attempts to divide and damage.

Going down on one knee has a lot more dignity to it in terms of expressing yourself than either of these two individial's behaviour, though of course some are tone death to that.

That's how I remember our discussions.

I'm quite sure looking through that thread again, would show it.

One rule for all.

Sport and politics is a no no. It is a misuse of position.

I don't give a s*** what some footballer thinks and neither should you.

So we shouldn't have worn the poppy last year when Fifa told us not to?

Everyone has a right to an opinion however insightful or ignorant it may be.
