Oh dear, the level of misrepresentation is reaching new heights and occuring on a daily basis now. So let me be quite clear. I don't support the Police over the grooming gangs, or indeed over Hillsborough. I can hear the gasps of disbelief and incredulity down here in Cornwall, so let me explain what I mean.

I support the Police. Period. Always. In everything and every way. I believe it's the duty of every citizen to support our Police at all times.

That doesn't mean they are perfect. Nothing run by people can ever be perfect. They make mistakes. They take decisions that, with the benefit of hindsight, can subsequently look to be grave errors. Sometimes their management systems fail and need radical overhaul. Sometimes they are working under government imposed restrictions we are unaware of. These days they work under enormous pressure, with stretched manpower and resources so they need our support and understanding more than ever.

Like everyone else the Police can learn from their mistakes and serve us better as a consequence. What they need is for us to have their backs, providing as much physical and moral support as possible.

What they don't need are loud mouthed trouble makers, and their apologists, making their job more difficult.

"Robinson" was apparently arrested for taking the law into his own hands and causing someone actual bodily harm. If true that's no one's fault other than his own.

That someone was alleged to have "groped his child" doesn't mean that they did, or if the evidence to prove they did, or did not, exists. That's why the Police need to quietly and objectively review the evidence and decide what action is appropriate. It's not revolutionary. It's standard procedure. If there is a history of similar complaints at the same location then that might raise the level of the investigation.

I do agree though with one thing. The recording does reveal all you need to know. Which is that "Robinson" is still the aggressive loud mouth he has always been and the the Police are doing their job.

whatever happened to 'innocent til proven guilty' or in your mind because its TR he must be guilty! Because he has previous he MUST be guilty??
You trust the police? Except when it doesnt suit your agenda to trust them..ie grooming gangs...yet you expect everyone else to trust them 100%?? Really?
Dont know about you BUT if someone groped my 8 year old daughter I would certainly do what TR did, or more, rather than wait for a policeman.....

Of course. Your point being what? That the Police make mistakes and can learn from them?

Everyone can learn. Most do. Only died in the wool regressives never change things and believe that yesterday's practices were better than tomorrow's.

I Accept mistakes but I don't accept decades of cover ups, you know I refered to Hillsborough as a cover up but you choose to go down the mistake route, god your transparent.
Hillsborough, grooming gangs and many other excamples of police cover ups.

It's plain to see the UK government want to hide the true extent of Muslim/Asian/pakistani grooming gangs because they know it will cause tensions between communities so are dumming down this as much as possible. Only the dim witted nieve can't see it.

However we also have the sympathisers!!!

Where on earth do you get that idea from? Of course he is innocent until proven guilty. We won't know unless and until he comes before a Court and a judgement is given. Just as the alleged "groper" is. "Robinson" was arrested because the evidence demanded he was. That's not though being found guilty. It's just being arrested on suspicion.

You trust the police? Except when it doesnt suit your agenda to trust them..ie grooming gangs...

Again where do you get that idea from? I haven't spoken of "trust" I have spoken of supporting the Police. However I do trust the Police to do all they can to find and prosecute these criminals. Which might well be limited by the resources they have available.

yet you expect everyone else to trust them 100%?? Really?

People will make up their own minds on trust but I do think everyone needs to support our Police. Trust depends more on whether you think they have enough tools to do their jobs effectively.

Dont know about you BUT if someone groped my 8 year old daughter I would certainly do what TR did, or more, rather than wait for a policeman.....

Taking the law into your own hands can never be justified. It might be hard but we all need to show restraint. Calling for support from the security at the site would have been a whole lot wiser in "Robinson's" case.

Any individual, or group of individuals, found guilty of deliberate cover ups deserve to have the book thrown at them.

That though is not a reason to castigate the whole of the British Police force. As an institution it deserves, indeed it demands, our support.

I still have many nagging doubts about the events at Hillsborough which continues to make me feel very uncomfortable that the whole truth has not yet been found, despite all the enquiries. Scapegoats have been offered up but something still doesn't feel right to me. Not, I hasten to add, with anything to do with the way the Police acted but about events well before they got involved. Don't ask me for any more because I cannot put a finger on it but something doesn't fit.

I have no more idea than anyone else whether there is a long term strategy in place to try handle potential flash points between communities. I hope there is, but what it is, is a mystery.

Well should they then their reasoning would be just as puzzling as it concerns hypocrisy.

Suspect it was more metaphorical.

Robinson regularly records his dealings with the police.....errrr, just how 'secret' is that? The Police also record dealings with the public....this poster's criticism of this is inane.

Why should he or the Police be concerned if everything is above board. But then again, we know that this poster is a one arm bandit when it comes to being even handed.

I'll state once again, Robinson has zero reasons to trust the Police. In my view their treatment of him has been disgusting.

Lies, pin dancing, hypocrisy, re-positioning and apologism.

He welcomes the importation of conflict and then says he doesn't know what the answer is......This kind of person has been the problem since the beginning.

He needs to live right smack in the middle of what his principles created, not in a filtered white wealthy area of the country.

1.So you agree the child grooming gangs are mainly from Asian/muslim/pakistani communities.

2. You agree the police should have the book thrown at them because they have covered up
These gangs. [Link]

Yet you still can't bring it to your self that being asian/pakistani/muslim is the problem.

"one of the main defendants in trial argued that it's his religious right to have sex with underage girls and that was his defence."

[Link]
Have you been calling LBC secretly lol

What is more depressing and worrying is that you wouldn't save more girls from rape by targeting Asian/Muslim/pakistani men because it appears racist and would let this carry on.

Wisbech, have a look at this girls face I hope it makes you change your mind.
[Link]

From reading this it basically is saying girls under 9 is a no go for sexual intercourse. [Link]
But you carry on thinking it has nothing to do with religion.

Another muslim country with large communities in the UK.
[Link]

"Religion happens to be the most convenient tool for the reactionary right in pakistan when it comes to sanctioning their perversions" [Link]

Having looked at these excamples it would be nice for you to reflect on your thinking and agree religion does play a large part in British grooming gangs. It Would make you the bigger men.

So if it was your 8 year old daughter getting groped, you would calmly wait for a policeman to come and sort it out, would you? Most men would have to be stopped from killing the offender, I know I would ! You on the other hand would simply stand and watch, do nothing and then apologise to him!! Unbelievable Wissy, unbelievable!!

The Police referred themselves to the IPCC! That's what it exists to do. It's a proof of the strength of our system and not a sign of weakness. That allegations are made is not the same as anyone been found guilty. You have only to read the threads here to realise that.

That senior Police officers might have been pressured by politicians in the past to overlook things seems very likely to me. Should that be proven then they need, of course, to be held to account. The recent exposure of Cyril Smith raises questions. Standards in public life are like everything else. They evolve and hopefully improve as a consequence.

Ever heard of Carl Beech? Making lurid claims is easy. Whether they are true is another matter.
