All I know is that the simple biological definition appears to now be insufficient to describe all circumstances. This is an emerging situation, only now in its first phases, and where it ends is uncertain. Whether we need additional classifications is a reasonable question, but the genie is out of the bottle and I don't see it being forced back inside.
