Thought he was great, if only more religious people were like him it would be more interesting....ok he was a bit long winded but it was fun, proper preacher. Just wished hed finished with 'everybody say Amen"
Apparently the royals paid for it all so no problems there either..

Whilst he was ranting on, I had this wonderful vision of Kenny Everett bouncing down the aisle in a choir robe, waving big sponge hands.........

I was up early today and as it was a beautiful day, I thought I would get into the garden.

My wife wanted me to watch the wedding with her but the garden was calling me. She then threw a curve ball and asked me if I wanted a fat breakfast, (my wifes breafasts are legendary). She said she would make it if I watched with her. She's a smart lady. I got a good feed and she got someone she could watch with.

I must admit, It was great fun, I actually enjoyed a royal wedding. The Reverand was brilliant, although I watched it through my fingers as, as soon as he started to speak, I knew it was going to be long. The Queens face was priceless. The Choirs were great.

It did feel very different. I'm not a royalist but not a hater either and this felt like a real breath of fresh air. Good to see all the people on the streets having a good time. It felt like the country needed it. Looked like a really good day, I am very happy for them and hope it works out.

They have had the best of starts. Congratulations to them both..

When it finished , kids in the paddling pool, few beers. Cup final then Warrington v Selby.
Great Saturday.

Didn't see that coming. Fair play though.

Hopefully Warrington v Frampton up next

I can’t decide whether this word has a missing ‘k’ or a superfluous ‘f’ and ‘a’

I reckon there is unaccounted monies spent.
To hush former partners of the bride and groom.
Reckon the brides dad got a bonus for steering clear.

Coz it's not like other prospective partners of Royals have done anything a bit naughty.

And because Diana was denied HRH, shouldn't that preclude her sons ? A bit like when Edward went off with Mrs Simpson, he was ejaculated from the Royal family

Or can you just change the rules to suit ?

‘Diana’. Were you on first name terms with her?

Fair play to you for being grumpy, but ‘Diana’ wasn’t denied the title ‘Her Royal Highness’. She was ‘HRH’ while she was married to the Prince of Wales, and because it’s an honorific title, and not an hereditary one, it’s lost on divorce. To somehow conclude that ‘Diana’ giving up her honorific title somehow precludes her sons is (with apologies) nonsense. They have their place in the succession because they are children of the next in line to the throne.

I think she is 'up the duff' too. That was one of my initial thoughts on the speediness of the organisation.

We wait for an announcement soon, . . .

Royal engagements traditionally are short.

Is a woman being “up the duff” when she gets married an issue in your opinion?

Seems like loads of people had fun and great weather for the event. No doubt cost the taxpayer millions too ... have no problem with that but perhaps Harry could grab a shovel and bucket of tar when he gets back from honeymoon and fix the pot hole in the road at the end of my drive way?
