So racism,sexism,lgbtqwhftxsr ism
But no fatism.
I suppose fat people must just deserve abuse then.
No wonder we eat so much.
STRESS that's the killer if you put it in a nutshell.

Not sure about doctors as I haven't seen enough of them but there are a huge proportion of nurses that are overweight

Fatness can be linked to occupation. It's easier and quicker to eat fast food than healthy cooked meals.

Or people who want to live as they want.

Ahhh but they do.
Responsibility for what though?
Self preservation to live to a ripe old age and be potless for the last few years.
Or to make sure that they dont need to have health care so enabling there to be less patients.
In turn enabling less investment and hospital closures.
The NHS is a business whatever anyone thinks.
Less spending creates smaller budgets next year.
Anyone in business knows that and spends at the turn of the year just to keep that status quo.

Another excuse.

I have few friends which use that and it's down to poor time management and not planning ahead.

A person could pre make the meals a day they are not working for the whole week or if they like it fresh simple steak, eggs, bacon those three only takes about 5 minutes. (I know you can't cook those at a work place heard that excuse as well but i bet they have a microwave so you could reheat or do eggs and bacon)

Precisely.

Whilst genetics play a part, 95% of weight gain/loss comes from choices.

Iím assuming by your username you live in the states??.. I have a very good friend whom I grew up with here who now lives in the states and he echoes what you say... He genuinely says we donít know how lucky we are with the NHS as Iíve heard horror stories from him regarding medical care in the US and the different types of insurance you get ripped off with..

For a time and its crazy the role that healthcare considerations play in peoples live. In some ways it improved under Obama, but it was still a botch job and is as confusing as ever.

Having family members on your health plan can be a real pain in certain states. For instance, a mother I know in Florida has kept her son on her plans into his late teens. He has MS and every time he's taken into hospital her co-pay would make your eyes water. In theory he's old enough now to get his own healthcare, and like most people he wants to pull his weight and so has a part time job at a local fast food place even though it's a struggle. He's been advised that this is a bad idea and makes him appear more able and will likely impact some of what he'd otherwise be entitled to.

So it's almost like you have to give up on life and humiliate yourself towards those whose support you need before they will even help you in the most basic of ways. We are indeed very lucky. The NHS is certainly imperfect, but the average person isn't plagued with what it means if they are admitted to hospital or lose their job in the same way that they are in the States. That's lobbying for you.
