But the free speech champions on the right have to accept it both ways. And the left and centre leaning don't get banned on here; they just get bullied, belittled and hounded off instead.

I find Wisbech Eagle entertaining. I disagree with most of what he says but he, at least, seems to believe it. His air of superiority reminds me of Basil Fawlty - completely out of place, yet almost endearing.

In the end, is there any point in debating anymore with these people? Remind you of anything?

Bullied and 'hounded off' are just loser excuses.....Belittled, yeah, I and others belittle bad arguments. Sure, there is some knockabout, but it's rarely one way. Political forums require resilience......I'm not sure what else you expect.

To add to Midland's response - the only posts in discussions that ever get deleted are those containing either foul languaged abuse directed at another member, or comments likely to bring the site into disrepute in other mediums or with potential repercussions for the site owners.
