Don't get me Started on confusing, the Tory's started this brexit B*llsh*t, and the referendum campaign was one of the most confusing in history, full of grandiose promises which they had no idea if they could achieve. I still don't actually know if the current deal hits any of these promises.

But I don't think people are confused by Labours stance per se. It's just more tedious mudslinging from the one party to another - They're all the same.
I think that if Labour do gain control, they are going to want to put a Deal in place that is their deal. I get that, they're hardly going to be the ones to implement another parties deal. I do think using the 'We can get a much better deal' argument is rather defamatory to the efforts of May/BJ over the past 3 years. Quite why they think they can promise a better deal is beyond me.
If they manage it, well done. But you can guarantee that they'll sell their 'deal' as 'much better' than Mays or BJs. Even if it isn't.
Then they've said they'll let the country decide if it's worth leaving for.
It's my view that this is the best way forward.

As for them voting against their own deal, have no illusions; before this whole Brexit shenanigans, EVERY party (Farage's aside) would have voted against leaving the EU. May was a Remainer FFS. and BJ has said in the past that he didn't think that a British government would leave the Single Market.

The referendum opposed the view of the majority of MPs. Now there are a minority of MPs who either genuinely agree with leaving the EU or are doing so to uphold the democratic vote, regardless of their views on the matter (which tbf is their job) - all of whom have now been given a job by BJ.
He can't pass a deal because none of those voting on it want to leave the EU in the first place.

Yes, but Parliament voted to defer the decision to the public and now the Remainers in that Parliament now want to pretend that it didn't happen.

Labour's manipulation of this situation has been disgraceful.

Two really bad days for the tories:-

The latest with the Welsh Secretary resigning but standing, what message does that send.

Wales could well be following N.Ireland and Scotland out of the UK in the next few years.

Add in Rees-Mogg and Grenfell, doctoring Starmer's video, government ads banned for dishonesty, usual false brexit time-frames.

Keir Starmer said on the radio yesterday that Jeremy Corbyn would vote against leaving, for the record that is the first time I've heard that.

Why, Corbyn voted remain and I have heard him say it several times.

Steely you're so desperate it's almost funny.

You don't seem to get it.....it doesn't matter what happens in the political bubble.

Johnson has that likeability factor....he tends to win popularity votes and that's essentially what an election is.....especially up against someone like Corbyn.

All the little old ladies and normies are going to vote for blondie.

And you're getting Johnsoned old boy.....just get some lube and learn to enjoy the experience.

Yeah....spends twenty years in the anti EU lobby voting against it every time...Literally had the remain camp pulling their hair out during the referendum.....But Steely thinks that Corbyn can't tell a lie when he's on his own with the ballot paper.

It's almost innocent.

Well he hasn't done much to stop leaving and Tony Benn was always ante EU.

Corbyn voted remain in the 2016 referendum he has said so often.

Doesn't make him an elderly psycho HOL headcase about brexit, he may be indifferent and consider other matters far more important.

If he had a take-away coffee in the co-op people would call him a marxist loony.

One small. petty blow for democracy by one fat, old, disgruntled woman.......

The Lib-Dem leafleteer turned up just now with their election bumpf for the Somerton & Frome candidate and I'm afraid I took great (if childish) delight in tearing his leaflet in half in front of his face whilst explaining that since that was what they propose to do with my brexit vote, they can't expect to be treated any differently.

Shooting the messenger? Definitely!

Satisfying? O Yes!

I really cant understand how people say the referendum was confusing. Yes or no answer with the best or worse either decision entails. It's not or wasn’t quantum physics.
I suppose the maxim of " we can only move forward at the pace of our slowest member" applies.
