It will now that he has stood down but there is strong possibility that if he had run as an independent he would have taken the seat due to who he is

An awful lot of contractors might disagree.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Hammond was regarded as a safe pair of hands as Chancellor and before as Foreign Secretary well regarded.

Since he has gone there has been a sharp increase n borrowing by Javid.

Looks like a portent of what is to follow, I am expecting the flood gates to open with Johnson as PM.

The dirty tricks department up and running with the tories editing Keith Starmers interview with Piers Morgan.

He answered the question ok but the video shows him mumbling instead, Morgan confirms it.

Tip of the ice-berg really couldn't believe even what is in front of your eyes these days.

Yep, I agree....it's out of order.

Liars are bad for the discourse and these arses are out there for the clicks and fully deserve the criticism.

I have not seen the interview but I am informed it was a bit of a 'Carcrash' with Starmer unable to explain clearly Labour's Brexit policy. No surprise there.

In actual fact only last night I was speaking to a chap from the north who had always voted Labour. He said he doesn't know where on earth they stand on Brexit and he won't be voting for them in this election adding that they chose the wrong leader.

On that note I shall now get togged up to meet up with some Tory chums in a local drinking establishment!

It'll be interesting to see if the polls shift in any substantial way over the next couple of weeks, now that people know an election is on. There are so many dynamics at play. I'm currently surprised to see that the odds for No Majority are not particularly generous. I can only assume that others are more in tune with how these things can pan out than I am!

As would most people who are self employed.

Heavy handed HMRC policies - shoot first and don’t bother asking questions.
Reinforcement of APN legislation.

That’s for starters. There’s been a real increase in HMRC acting like judge, jury and executioner. Unfortunately they have all the competence of Robbie Savage as a top level economist.

These didn't affect the self employed but those employed by their own limited company and closed loopholes that allowed them to pay far less tax than an employed person on PAYE.

The system is still abused by too many people and you only have to look at the insolvency section of UK Business Forums to see the number of people saying that they had spent the tax money and asking how they could close the company down and set up another one
