The Media love wars because if it bleeds, it leads. And the Left miss wars because they need to the opportunity to virtue signal. No fun in peace agreement is there? Or in US troop withdrawals from the Middle East?. Or drones not dropping missiles on wedding partys? Where is the buzz in all that stability?

It's only ever for himself and if the appearance of peace helps him then that's what he will present.

Another one who believes in conspiracy theories! There are several woven into this which would stand a good chance of winning an award for "BS of the year".

Trump is a dictator and has been ordering strikes in the Middle East from the outset of his presidency. 'Google' it and there are plenty of examples and the UK and France is involved too. It is not welcome news anymore particularly after the vote against Cameron's planned excursion into Syria was defeated in 2015, so reporting is suppressed. I wouldn't be surprised if he can order air strikes without consulting us except out of politeness.

My opinions on what is true are based on facts. Either things that are self-evident because they are said by Trump himself, or have been fact-checked by others. That I then go on to express an opinion about what may be the consequences doesn't turn them into conspiracy theories. They clearly remain an opinion. A conspiracy theory isn't based on anything at all except someone's imagination. Although they are presented as factual, when they are checked they inevitably are shown to be false. Viral conspiracy theories are a modern-day plague infecting the impressionable via the internet. They are a really dangerous development which is reaching epidemic proportions and are being promulgated by malign influences who wish to see the western democracies fail. Those who believe them are assisting in that process.

You are spreading lies. Firstly, Covid 19 is entirely a 2020 problem and the 2020 statistics are not yet available, for obvious reasons. That's not to say that some information isn't available. Check this site and look at the graph for weekly deaths. There is a clear rise as the virus took hold, which has declined as summer progressed. Much as it has here, but all the indications are that the second wave is underway and so the death rate will climb again. Though with better medical knowledge not to the same levels.

In fact less this year than last four years Mortality in the U.S. was more than 280,000 higher during the first eight months of 2020 than any of the previous five years over the same period On a basic level, being that there's a pandemic (in which hundreds of thousands have died stateside, plus no doubt many others due to delays on cancer treatments and the like) why would there be this push or belief to deny that more people have died so far this year?
