Here is a link to a google page where the MSM called micro-chips for vaccine passports a conspiracy theory....Just look at how much of it there was. That's directed to discredit.

They try to highlight the most extreme claims to dismiss the fact that these technologies have actually been in development for this usage.

[Link]

Yet the emerging truth is that this is on the cards for the future and that was never a conspiracy theory in the first place.

The only question is whether the politicians will allow it.

The individual blocks you, not the site. It usually means that they don't get to see your direct posts. But everyone who doesn't block you does.

Not on the biggest sites. It just stops PMs. Which if they don't exist makes no difference. Anyone can easily "block" posts. Just by averting their eyes. I do it for many posts on subjects which don't interest me.

The answer is already in our hands. We are all adults. We don't need Mummy to do it for us.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

You can block on Facebook and Twitter. I don't know how much bigger it gets than that.

You respecting my request would be reasonable.

As you won't, I can only hope that in the future your choice becomes moot.

mmmm

I always read the conspiracy theory as people thinking the vaccine had nanobots and microchips IN it. Which is of course Matthau level nonsense

As for implants specifically for the vaccine - can’t see it myself. Why would they be needed when you have a phone or watch.

Implants that contain all your required contactless information? Payment, building access, biometrics, travelcards, medical, whatever - Sure. People have been talking about that for decades.

However again, you’re already carrying this in your pocket right now anyway. The only jump is having it in your body rather than on it.

Similar to the cyborg argument. We’re already there - the next step
Is implants. And it will happen, just not ‘only’ for vaccines. Wouldn’t make any sense and people wouldn’t buy into it.

Also good luck getting that through parliament. China? Probably already doing it.

If they had only focused upon nanobots perhaps I might agree....but the intent and message is clear.

The real point of it is precisely what you identify but perhaps think is innocent. Whereas I see the obvious control of money and hence the control of people's behaviour....indeed very Chinese....How apt if a Chinese virus eventually leads onto a Chinese control system....As for a phone, that has an off switch and is limited to tracking.

There are a lot of acts that parliament wouldn't have passed in the past that they have in the present day. We have already seen how fear can change civil liberties considerably.

Indeed, vaccine passports were also called conspiracy theory.

At the moment the time delay between something being called a 'alt right' conspiracy theory or whatever and the mainstream then presenting it to the public a year or two later in very different language has become somewhat of a meme.

Here are the data. Table 9 may be most useful

Well, that was a direct quote from the article.

What does the table suggest?

Three doses of AZ jab effective against Omicron - study

"Three doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is effective against the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the pharmaceutical company has said.

Citing data from an Oxford University lab study, which has yet to be published in a peer-reviewed journal, AstraZeneca said its jab matches the performance of those from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna against Omicron.

According to the study, neutralising levels against Omicron after three doses of the AZ jab were broadly similar to those against Delta.

"As we better understand Omicron, we believe we will find that T-cell response provides durable protection against severe disease and hospitalisations," Mene Pangalos, the head of AstraZeneca's biopharmaceuticals R&D said.

Although the early data is positive, AZ is working with Oxford University to produce a vaccine tailored for Omicron."

Decent news, as the AZ jab was looking like the runt of the litter for a bit .

They’re a bit late with this news when most people who’ve had the booster didn’t get it.

The only question is whether the politicians will allow it.

You are conflating two quite separate issues, whether by accident or design is for you to advise.

The use of an implanted micro-chip as a vaccine passport is a recent suggestion, which seems extremely unlikely to ever be accepted.

This has nothing at all to do with the wild conspiracy theory being circulated a while back that the vaccines themselves contained a micro-chip, inserted at the behest of Bill Gates, and intended to control the size of the world population by killing people at some pre-ordained time.

Look at the size of the implant and compare it with the amount, and liquidity, of vaccine being given and the nonsense becomes obvious.

Certainly, though several studies show that mixing different vaccines is a good move, and so if anything it's just reassurance that those who had two AZ jabs first don't look to be in a particularly bad position.
