I do worry that with schools opening fully in September that no thought is given to those teachers / assistants working with the children. Surely they require PPE? If they become ill how do schools keep open. They work so closely with the children who’s parents are dropping them off at school and then travelling to work before picking them up again. Those teaching staff then go home and mix with there own households. It’s a disaster waiting to happen?

As far as I know, every school now has a Covid rep and Covid training. Anyone with symptoms is to be isolated and sent home, or not come in. Everyone has to fill in a 'fit to work' form of some type. Teachers and Assistants will wear masks or visors. As far as I'm aware, so will students. Classrooms will be socially distanced, or classes will be split if not possible due to space. There will be on site cleaners and time limits on lessons. Those are the plans I have seen, I suspect the UKs will be the same. We usually just copy theirs as it's less work for us. I can actually link our documents if anyone's interested.

May as well tell comprehensive kids your future is going to be even worse than you already thought. Well done to all those who want to introduce measures to make this happen, but I’m sure in years to follow they’ll blame others.

Nope. I’m astounded how sensible you are on this virus subject.

What Maple and all the other lefties who are okay with damaging education, employment and futures all do is ignore the chances of dying from Covid. As a child you statistically have more chance of being struck by lightning. That isn’t an exaggeration, it’s a fact. In all the schools around the world that have been open for months, only one teacher has been reported catching the virus off a child, in Australia. The slums of Mumbai couldn’t socially distance or implement any measures to ‘fight off’ lol (deal with) the virus but it has gone down to extremely low levels efficiently by itself. And yet you get more and more leftie MP’s and activists going on about the same things they know are obstacles because the public can’t and won’t cooperate even if the government made it possible. If it’s not Keir Starmer it’s Tony Bliar or Layla Moran and her ‘We should be aiming for zero Covid cases’ delusion.

Everywhere else faces life, gets on with it and shows no problems from their results, yet for some reason the NEU and all the obstructive lefties in all their mischievous parties and agendas will do everything they can to try and influence anyone they can that schools can’t function and consequently many children’s futures and current lives suffer. I’m not sure whether in their elitist arrogance they think everyone is completely stupid or they want to be even more unelectable each week after Whatsapp messages go round at weekends as to how to knock the government, whether warranted or not, and in turn the public they’re supposed to care more about. Have they seen the polls recently? Even with so many p1ssed with the Tories, Labour are miles behind. At least I won’t have to vote Boris if it comes to it to keep a bunch of traitors out who’d throw everyone under the bus for a General Ele ction victory.

I am ignoring nothing. Don’t try and put words in my mouth. Schooling is crucial. The plan needs to support it. Currently there is little sign of that. I have repeated findings published in, and therefore peer reviewed for, the Lancet.

They could be in school tomorrow. Children are in countries all over the world. You and I know it.

They could be. If we had an effective testing system. Or if we locked down in other areas. I guess you don’t believe in experts, this is all well known.

Lockdown here there and everywhere. Try telling people or to work who have to or want to and accept £95 per week, yeah right. And then possibly again days later? What planet do you lot live on these days? Everybody knows who’s vulnerable and who isn’t and that’s another problem with your test and find asymptomatic people and expect them to hide away. It ain’t gonna happen. Shield the vulnerable, yes. The rest of your left wing control? Not on this island.

The Lancet is a tool of left wing control? I suppose you could be right ...
