I am not telling anyone anything. I am suggesting changes that, ultimately, would, in my opinion, improve the way people treat each other. Which would extend well beyond a baker's shop. It would be for Parliament to do the telling. And for us to choose the Parliament. Not me.

Why? If a Director wants to make a statement he can cast it whichever way he wants. That's the whole point. In the Fleming books was Bond's skin colour even mentioned, or are you making assumptions based on every actor cast so far? His father was Scottish and his mother was Swiss. Work it out.

Ali has second thoughts and considers abandoning Islam - questioning his affliction and giving up boxing in order to teach Palestinian kids. A final monologue about the VAT on vehicles modified for disability. Blamed somehow on Israel or Trump. I think you should send that screenplay to Spielberg. Sounds like box office gold to me!

Or is 'Bond' of Swahili origin? I'm not sure if you are having a laugh or do live in some sort of alternate reality occasionally.

What is your fixation with "leftist"? I use my own brain. The reason I referenced them was to assist you in using yours. he immigrant population of Britain has not gone from next to nothing in the 1940s to 26% in 70 years. We both have an immigrant heritage, as does everyone in the UK. Immigration has always happened. It's nothing new, just as objections to it aren't anything new. I don't suppose the Romans or the Normans were welcomed with open arms, let alone the Vikings! It goes in waves, and takes time to settle down. My parents were both strongly opposed to those who arrived in the 50s and 60s, from the Caribbean, India and Africa. Most of us accept that now as just part of our history, although I expect you still think they should all "be sent back". Assimilation takes time, sometimes a lot of time, and it demands effort, sometimes a great deal of effort, but it happens. Cultures change, birth rates trend downwards to match the average. Intermarriages occur, demarcation lines get blurred, and we end up with a population in which our Roman, Norman and Viking genes might still be there, but we are all British. So yes, this is a conspiracy theory and a very nasty one. Like it has in the USA so successfully?
