The Emily Jones tragedy will see the killer " failed by a system failing to provide mental health care because of austerity", or some such bollocks Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

we seem to have total silence on this news story today from RTE. what about other news outlets ? i bet the Emily Jones story is given the minimum amount of coverage to prevent an outcry of 'foul' well , at least the Standard did a professional job. Last night they had a full piece on the 9 O'clock news, live from a few social houses in Cork that had been built. Even then, not sure how they found them. Point is - how the f@ck is that anything other than state propaganda? Oh look a developer built 50 houses - some of them people could even afford. Recently the government 'co-living' units were banned, didn't make the RTE news. It's a government mouthpiece. I watch it as the comedy news now. Shame no one is waking up. A lot of people are sick of the constant Covid coverage - but we can take our tranquillisers about the evil Brits and Brexit so no harm. Our government so progressive and incorruptible - beyond reproach. Red and Blue Army!

RTE is the worst I've ever seen. Stalin would do better. Last night they had a full piece on the 9 O'clock news, live from a few social houses in Cork that had been built. Even then, not sure how they found them.
