In your opinion maybe, we have just matched one of the biggest teams in the world, who have a budget and squad far far larger than ours and still people complain.

It's the premier league for goodness sake and we may be in it for yet another season.

I feel Fulham and WBA are not going to be able to reach higher then 36 points, Fulham have too many difficult games coming up and WBA have left it too late to find enough form.

I expect the tea lady speaks to Parish and Bright as well, but I doubt they share the club’s strategy with either.

Blimey. Do companies still have tea ladies as I thought that they went out with the ark

Perhaps a case of flashing the smallest disclosures like a Parisien belle displaying glimpses of her inner thigh.

Exactly, the hating fans are just extremely upset that's all ..they were fully hoping for a good old Manchester thrashing and now you can see clearly how they all stand out lol

Well - I am a "Roy out" supporter but I thought that last nights performance was pretty good - way better than many previous performances.
Yes, Man Utd were not at their best but so what - their team against our injury blighted brigade should have been a foregone conclusion.
Roy set up with some attacking intent and if he had chosen to do that against lesser teams over the last year or so I would not be in the camp that wants him to go.
With a decent striker we could have scored last night - Benteke just isn't that man sadly.
So - yes - I would like to see a new Manager come in still but i hope we continue to play with the same spirit, togetherness and attacking intent that we did last night for the rest of the season.

He won’t last long when the fans get back. Gary Neville said the same thing on commentary tonight, would not put up with such poor quality football.

To be fair Gary Neville aimed that comment at Man Utd as well.
I love listening to him - he is a very good pundit and co-commentator!

This what I cannot accept from Roy. Set up this away against Man Utd thats fair enough, but set up the same way against 3rd from bottom Fulham and publicly concede we could not hope for more than a draw, i'm not having that. Anyway, credit where credit is due a very good performance from Roy and the team.

I thought he said, he knows Parish, and Bright well, and still talks to them.. He just wouldn’t confirm that he knew what was about to happen,. Only that he thought something would happen.
It was a different Roy, as well. He made a point of saying how we were in credit on transfer,s nearly everyone else isn’t he said. And a reference to Burnley, which kind of angled ,at the fact that it isn’t just Dyche, that manages a cheap and cheerful squad.
All bit defensive for him I thought.
It looked a bit like, even Dyche will not beat what I have done.
Maybe the cat is poking its head out of the bag?

I did not form the same conclusion based on his words.
I believe his sentiments expressed his view that people think just of Burnley as minimal spenders in the PL but that CPFC have been in this category with him at the helm.
I didn't draw any conclusions relating to Sean Dyche.

That performance was far from spectacular, but it was a prime example of why those that want rid of Hodgson,. Should acknowledge that the team do go out there with the intention of having a go, and any idea that they and their boss don’t is not a fact by some way.
Man.U didn’t press that much , so the lads that have struggled to get anything going in recent games , could in this game, and did.
And would in most games if they can.
The emphasis is as ever with the players, and how they cope with various opposition, and games like last nights shows that .

You've got to laugh at some of the loons on here, desperate to peddle their own agenda. Accusing Palace fans of wanting to receive a thrashing. All creditability is lost when they throw these baseless accusations. What real palace fan wants to see us lose? Especially when the most committed of posters on this thread that have contributed to the number of pages on this thread have said they will not post their monotonous drivle any longer. Funny. You can just imagine the fervent excitement last night, sock in hand so that they could continue the Roy defence argument today.

It seemed a bit beyond Hodgson,s normal . The reference to budgets and Anything to do with Dyche, just happens to be very much a part of the of the speculation surrounding His and the future of the club.. Roy, is a very intelligent man. He knows very well how to be subtle .
It’s only a thought , not a fact.
